But seriously, you should just need an ordinary USB extension cable, they are cheap.
Thanks. I was thinking because of the unique cable it has something like might not have been possible. I'm glad to know that's not the case.

I need one of these anyway.

Using the remote play is pretty sweet and convenient. . Making something with an r2 l2 button shouldn't be hard

Haven't seen anything about connecting a DS4 to a Vita via USB, but the Vita has Bluetooth so it could be made connectable that way, not sure how you would look at the screen though (some sort of Vita harness? Seems a L2/R2 grip would work better). Sad thing is unless Sony does it, third parties aren't going to be clamoring to make something like this.

Haven't been able to connect to my PS4 while LTE connected, even with speeds better than the video posted earlier showed. Will keep trying, though.

Anyone had any luck with it outside of their home network?

              Just played the Tearaway demo.

At first, it felt incredibly bland. Couldn't jump, couldn't rotate the camera, there wasn't any music, colors were bland, and I felt like it was just a game for simpletons.

The last part could be that feeling I sometimes get with RPG's, though. Not much action, a lot of dialogue, etc. I guess I'd have to live with it if I get it.

Anyway, your limitations break loose very quickly. You start to use the rear touchpad, you start to avoid little baddies, and the collectibles are quite unique and fun. The world opens up and gets colorful, music starts playing, and although this game could use some cell shading or lighting effects or what have you, it is its nice own little world and is worth exploring. I love what MM does because they are so unique. First LittleBigPlanet, and now this.

The only problem might be that I finished 9% of the game's overall progress in what I think was less than an hour. I don't know how short the game is, but for an RPG you'd hope to get more time out of it.

Isn't Tearaway a platformer and not an RPG?

Gah, I used the wrong word. Yes, Platformer is what I meant.

It's not without RPG elements, though. All I'm saying is the game doesn't have enough action, adventure, collectibles, or a combination of all three for the little that I saw. It is kind of fun, though! You'll find yourself smiling every thirty seconds or so for the thing you just did. I think the journey would be much more rewarding than, say, Knack... but right now as a $35 title, I'll wait for a little bit. Vita games like KillZone and The Show will take up my time meanwhile. I'd like to play more of this game, though.

EDIT: Actually, I'll be honest... I'm giving this game an unfair assessment based on the fact that I played a demo. I don't invest as much into a game that I know will expire on me as I'm trying to progress, so anything that I collect or do in a way is rather moot. I think if I bought this game, I would love to sit down and rummage through the entire thing in one or two sittings. I just want those sittings to cost less in time, though.

I hope this game gets picked up by many, because it's a great title. I also hope more Vitas are moved so people can recognize this little thing, too. I was sorely disappointed by what the guys did with Ratchet & Clank on Vita, that was just a terrible mess. This game makes up for that loss.

The game is $29 at BBY today and if you are an unlocked member its $23. It might be the price point you are looking for.

                      Just might be, thanks!

I've been trying to avoid physical purchases lately though because I broke all of my games but The Show '13. Apparently having them in my wallet was not a good idea. I don't know how they're broken, but my Vita can't read them. R.I.P. ModNation Racers: Road Trip, Mortal Kombat, LittleBigPlanet, MLB 12: The Show, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified.

EDIT: Wait, I'm no longer an Unlocked member. I didn't get an e-mail for that super cheap renewal, which pisses me off. I think my membership expired unknowingly before I was eligible for the cheap route, and the benefits are too stupid to renew for as expensive as it is now. I just may have to pass for a while..

Anyone use those trigger grips with remote play for the ps4? Does in help make the controls more tolerable?

I remember you saying that your games got damaged in your wallet. That really sucks big time. That is a lot of games that got damaged. Can you maybe rebuy a few of them at different retail stores and then just go back and tell them the game doesn't work? That way they would exchange for you for a working one and just sell off the second one of each, unless you re bought them on PSN.

Mine expires in Feb, but I need to renew by 12/31 to get it for $30. It's well worth it to get 20% off.

A little bit it does help. Without it my hands would get tired but of the game requires l2 r2 quite a bit its tough to get used to using the touch pad initially

Yeah, but I'm not good at selling things. I have an HD-PVR sitting here and an HTiB that I just can't pawn off.
