Yeah I decided to go that route. Put my name on a list at GameStop for the new 3ds. Possibly tomorrow.

Try not even knowing when you're getting one. I've been checking places daily. I have my SD card and charger waiting. Haha

And it seems like the port strike on the West Coast is holding a lot of stuff up. Europe isn't having these issues at all.

Yeah, that is a odd choice to say the least, but not surprising for Nintendo. Heck, the GBA SP didn't allow you to plug in headphones without an adapter.

A few Targets and Game Stops have the red ones but not sure I want that color. If anyone has the red 3DS XL, how do you like it compare to the black?

I have the red one. I like it. I would be fine with the black one though. Doesn't really matter to me. Just wanted one.

Are there some games where I should just turn the 3d off? Playing new Mario 2 and it's pretty much just always blurry when I'm on the world maps unless I turn the 3d off.
