Re: Wii U Discussion
Well they are in it to make money.
I just looked and if the data is correct. It wasn't until 4th quarter of 2011 before the Wii was not the leader is console sales.
So despite the lack of 3rd party support, they led in console sales every year before then.
Would think if the lack of 3rd party support was going to be a huge issue it would have hurt the console sales before 5 years out the gate.
I just don't think it's as big a deal as some think. Nintendo has a big thing going for them. Nintendo games.
It will be cool to see how it all pans out. I hope they are successfull as I do for all 3 of them. Last thing I want is fewer choices.Joshua:

Re: Wii U Discussion
I want Nintendo to do their own (weird) thing because I own the other consoles and I want to have something different...I'll wind up buying the next Xbox and Playstation so let them do something crazy and let's see what happens. BTW never had a Nintendo product break on me so I'm not worried about the controller...different story with Sony and Microsoft.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
While I haven't said anything abou the controller breaking there are 2 things
For 1 its a cheap tablet controller, and #2 whoever has it as Jmood said here has to protect the thing like a diamond because if it breaks, they have no indication they can buy another one at the moment so it can't be readily replacedComment

Re: Wii U Discussion
I have no interest in this thing, I have Nintendo is pretty much dead to me now, but I will say that this won't be a problem. Nintendo takes care of their customers. I can't say their won't be shortages and paying over $100 to replace a controller is a real kick in the groin, but Nintendo customer service won't leave people out to dry.Joshua:

Re: Wii U Discussion
Contrary to pretty much everyone's belief, the Wii U will be sold at a loss:
"...The Wii U hardware will have a negative impact on Nintendo's profits early after the launch because rather than determining a price based on its manufacturing cost, we selected one that consumers would consider to be reasonable," he told investors yesterday when also discussing the company's fiscal outlook. Yesterday, the company downgraded its fiscal forecast for the year.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
I should have stated it differently its just that Nontendo get's me very upset...
I played Xenoblade Chronicles and that game is the best game of this generation it trumps even the mass effect trilogy... So Im not akin to NON HD graphics only
One of the reaosn im getting the wii u is to continue my gaming of the xenoblade game with the new controllerBrand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Just in case people don't know what I'm referring to, the EA Sports games on Wii U won't have the physics engines.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
