A statement on the official PlayStation blog states that PS3 users will be able to play the game on up to 2 PS3 systems, while PSP users will be able to play the game on up to 2 activated PSP systems.

Formerly, content could be accessed across 5 devices.

So if you are a PS3 and a PSP user, doesn't that mean 4 devices total, but limited to 2 of each, rather than a choice of what all 4 (or 5 like it is now) gets used for?

Meaning that I could have the PS3 like I do now, and a PSP, and add another PSP and PS3 if I wanted?

I also wonder if the Vita will classify in the PSP part or will be another set of 2.

That's the way I read it. Your account can be active on 4 devices, 2 PS3 and 2 PSP.

I would think that Vita would be it's own device and not lumped in with the PSP. When it's released you'll be able to have your account on up to 6 devices spread throughout Sony's lineup. Maybe that's at the heart of why Sony is making these changes.

Yeah, you guys are right. So the way it works is that you can only place it on 2 PS3's now and 2 PSP's. Once Vita comes out, I wonder how the PSP deal will work and if it will be separate.

BTW, a 'Like" doesn't do enough to show my true excitement over Chrono Cross finally coming to PSN. It's more like:

Chrono Cross was awesome.......I'm waiting to get a Vita before buying anymore PS1 classics. Kind of sucks trying to play these on the big screen.

I just downloaded all the Crash Bandicoot's, one of my most favorite platform games back in the day on the PS1. Too bad Sony lost the Bandicoot franchise, it was so well done on one platform and when they went multi-plat it lost focus.

I just received an email about this for my Japanese PSN account, according to it the Vita will be included in the PSP count and not separate.

That is what I thought, makes sense. I think that 3 would of been a great number.

I agree, if they're going to lump the Vita in with PSP activations then 3 would have been better.

The Hydrophobia game isn't too bad for being free. Although I would probably save it for a rainy day as there are too many really good games contending for your time right now.

Yes, it is. The production values are a little amateurish, but it still can be fun at times. Like I said, download it now and save it for a rainy day.

I'll try the Monopoly Streets trial, and see if it's worth buying. I'll need my sister to want it too though, otherwise I couldn't play it by myself all the time lol.

When does that Jurassic Park game come out, since I get a free coupon for it by renewing my PS+ subscription?
