I would give XBL the edge, but not by much. There are less people that use mics for the PS3, and for me who don't like kids speaking, it is a good thing.

As far as connection XBL is better but it is not really noticeable with the popular games such as COD, Battlefield, etc.

Best thing is you don't have to pay for PSN, unless you want to get Playstation Plus.

It varies, mine takes about 20 minute usually. I have a Wireless connection.

So how many Plus people are jumping on Marvel Pinball today? I've been messing around with the demo and it seems like there's some kind of Team Force thing that deals with the top scores you and your friends list put up on the tables, and there are trophies involved. We gotta team up and get those!

Also, this appears to be the real reason the base game is going free for Plus:

Tables starring Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Thor, and the X-Men will be available for Marvel Pinball in the brand-new Vengeance and Virtue table pack, coming to PlayStation Store later today for $9.99! Owning the original Marvel Pinball is required for the V&V expansion – but if you don’t already have that critically acclaimed four-pack, you [...]

Zen Pinball: **** Quest Table ($2.49)

Didn't know they were still releasing tables for Zen...pretty cool.

After playing the first 4 marvel tables I don't think it'll be long before I jump on the add-on - enjoying all of them so far. Voice sound effects are leaving a bit to be desired, but that's really my only complaint.

We gotta team up and get those!

Also, this appears to be the real reason the base game is going free for Plus:

I downloaded it, played one table (Spider-Man), and boom... 85 million. I could not believe the streak I was going on, and I kind of voluntarily quit because I had to run to Best Buy before they closed. It was quite ravishing that I could get such a score!

                        Time to try out Wolverine...

I was wondering what shot my team force score up into the thousands....that was probably it!

Wolverine's the only one I've hit really hard so far - it's got some nice features like a regeneration - if the ball drains through the right outlane another one shoots into play, and you have 20 seconds to hit a ramp. Hit it and play continues (and there's a point bonus), fail and the flippers lock out. It's pretty easy to activate, so it's probably possible to keep balls going for a long time if you know what you're doing.

Seems like there's an interesting day/night mechanic as well as some kind of item purchasing in Blade, but I haven't getten too in-depth on it yet.

The game on the whole feels very much like Zen in that the focus isn't on keeping the ball in play, but rather on the different mode features of each table and figuring out how to get the highest score. That's what I liked so much about the original Zen Pinball.

^ Well in playing, I definitely found a lot of the hidden elements in the Iron Man table. Unfortunately I was focusing so much, I kept dying.

I'm in the middle of downloading Captain America, and want to get Fantastic Four as well, but I need 10 cents more in my wallet. I'll just wait until Christmas or something. Playing Blade now, then hitting the sack.

How was Joe Danger? It's out on XBLA today and I am pretty sure some of you really liked it when it released over the summer.

Joe Danger is awesome. It's like Excitebike meets Sonic. Super addictive and fun. Lots of content, and I believe the XBLA version has even more. It's at least worth checking out the trial.
