Make sure the main switch in the back is OFF, HOLD the eject button (not sure for how long) then flip the main switch back ON while still holding the eject button.

Worked like a charm, I had DCUO stuck in my old PS3 since damn near when the game launched lol.

I got it out easy, I was scared of putting in MNR for fear that your suggestion wouldn't work again but it did. So now I have no games in my old PS3 but it leads me to another question(s).

That crazy loud blow dryer sound the PS3 makes when I do as you explained to me, whats going on there?

Will I have to do that every time if I want to use my second PS3 or should I send it in for repairs on the disc drive?

The PlayStation Network Joins SEN
Welcome to the Sony Entertainment Network.

In an attempt to unify all independent Sony-centric networks, such as the PlayStation Network, the service previously known as Qriocity, and more, Sony has revealed that PlayStation Network accounts will be rebranded as SEN -- or Sony Entertainment Network -- accounts in order to bring more unity between services.

Sony released the following statement to IGN:

"Back at IFA in September, we announced that we would be changing the name of Sony's online entertainment services from Qriocity to Sony Entertainment Network. The reason for this change was so that there was more unity between the services and the multiple Sony devices where they can be accessed. The goal is for there to be one networked log-in for all Sony services. By changing the name 'PlayStation Network account' to 'Sony Entertainment Network account', helps clarify the unity between PSN and other Sony Entertainment Network services. Users can enjoy the same services continuously without being required to change their username and password. However, this change will not affect the naming of "PlayStation Network accounts" when viewed on a PSP system."

From this information, it appears that PlayStation Network will continue to be known as PSN, but that your login information will act as a global login for all SEN-related services. We've reached out to Sony for further clarification on what this means for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita gamers in particular, and will update with further information as we receive it.

On February 8, 2012, your “PlayStation®Network account” will be renamed a “Sony Entertainment Network account” or a “SEN account” in conjunction with Sony Computer Entertainment’s PlayStation®3 system software and PlayStation®Vita system software updates. For general purposes, this account change is a change in name only. Your username or password will not change, nor are we asking you to change them. In accordance with this transition, some necessary naming changes will be made to the TOS and Privacy Policy.

This transition is based on Sony’s goal to enhance its unique digital entertainment offering. As a series of these activities Sony started last September, PlayStation®Network will be aligned with “Sony Entertainment Network.” This helps us get closer to our goal of establishing a global comprehensive network platform of services across games, movies, music and more, all accessible from one convenient account.

Thank you for your continued loyalty and support during this transition.

Hi Everyone -

With great new PSN Games, the return of two PlayStation legends, great new PS3 Full Games and a stellar February kick-off for PlayStation Plus subscribers; there’s a lot to love with today’s update.

New PSN Games hitting this week include Gotham City Impostors. Bringing a new style of multiplayer mayhem with a tongue-in-cheek Gotham City style, you’ll want to see what the players in the Beta have been raving about. In addition, side-scrolling action comes in two flavors this week. For brutal combat action, you’ll want to check out Shank 2. For classic four-player co-op beat em ‘ups, download The Simpsons Arcade Game.



It’s also a big week for PlayStation legends Jak and Daxter. Not one, not two, but three of their original adventures are hitting the PlayStation Store today! And the best part? These classic PlayStation 2 games have been remastered in HD along with stereoscopic 3D functionality and new Trophy support! Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3 are now available individually, or grab them as a bundle at a lower price.

As mentioned earlier today, brand-new DLC is hitting UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception including the Fort Co-Op Adventure. This DLC will mark the first time in the series you’ll be able to play co-op as the UNCHARTED villains with Zoran Lazarević, Eddy Raja, Harry Flynn joining forces in a tale that further explores the mystery behind the Janus head statue from the on-disc co-op adventure. It, as well as additional DLC, arrives today and is available individually, or as part of Fortune Hunters’ Club.

New PS3 Full Games arriving today include the twisted puzzle tale Catherine, as well as the fun for all ages Top Spin 4 and Lego Pirates Of The Caribbean. These titles represent some of the best experiences previously only found at retail; now available to download. PlayStation Plus subscribers are also able to download a free one hour trial of Catherine and Lego Pirates Of The Caribbean as part of their subscription.

Speaking of PlayStation Plus, today kicks off February’s month of free games, discounts, and exclusives. For one, the aforementioned The Simpsons Arcade Game is now free for subscribers! Recent PS one Classic release Final Fantasy V is also free to download. First and free access to this episode’s Qore, as well as free downloads of PS minis Hungry Giraffe and Gold Medalist round out this week’s Plus updates, with more fun to come throughout the month.

Survival mode is a great reminder of why I spent so many quarters on that Simpsons machine - I can't hardly get to the end of the 1st stage on one life.

Fun game, just like I remembered. Graphics look just like the old days, so don't go expecting anything in HD. It's not widescreen either, except for an arcade monitor shape occupying the rest of the screen.
