Limbo is FANTASTIC. You won't regret that purchase.

It's unlike anything I've ever played before, I never thought I could be so immersed in a black and white world. You know, I never even knew any of these PSN games existed, I got bored a few nights ago and checked out the Playstation Essentials section and that's how I found Limbo. I will definitely keep an eye on PSN games in the future.

I have a question, on my old fat PS3 I have a game stuck in the disc drive so I went out and bought a new PS3 slim (this was a while ago). I wanted to start playing ModNation Racers again with my gf so I used a usb stick and saved what I though were all the files and transferred them over to my new PS3.

Here's my dilemma, I don't see any of my creations, nor the ones I downloaded on my game now.

Did I do something wrong here? Maybe someone could help me out with this please.
You didn't do anything wrong. It's a problem specific to MNR. It only lets you transfer your career data, no creations. The only way to get your created stuff to your new PS3 is to publish it from your old PS3 and then log in on your new PS3 and download them all from the creation station.

Same with all your other downloaded creations, you have to re-download them. If those creations aren't published anymore there's no way to get them. Really stupid thing they did.

Of course they'd put FFV up for free right after I bought it 2 days ago...

One of the few FF's I haven't played a billion times (3 on the NES/Famicom is the other, excluding the online ones).

Thanks so much for that, I'll have to find a way to get MNR in my old PS3 then so I can get on the game and publish everything.

I know there is a button press/hold thing you can do to force the PS3 to eject a disc but I forgot how.

Make sure the main switch in the back is OFF, HOLD the eject button (not sure for how long) then flip the main switch back ON while still holding the eject button.

You are awesome, actually both of you for helping me out.

I'll give it a go after I finish eating lunch, thanks again.

I just noticed the Simpsons Arcade Game in that batch of free + content too.

Holy Crap. I probably put more money into that machine than I paid for the PSN+ subscription. Can't wait for that!

Good to see the Sonic games back on there too, as I missed them the other time around (and growing up as a primarily Nintendo gamer, I've never really gotten to play deep into either of them)

I assume multiplayer is for sure on this demo?

                          Hell yea, if so.

                                PlayStation Store Update

                                Hi Everyone -
This week, the folks at Konami are excited to bring you the new PSN Release Puddle! Relying on the physics of water and other fluids (hot magma anyone?) in ever-evolving environments, you’ll need to guide the fluid flow with precision to get to the goal. While it seems like a simple concept, the gameplay requires a fun puzzle-focused mentality where you must tilt the entire environment, balancing the push of each fluid’s unique properties with the pull of environmental factors of gravity, friction, and obstacles. With PlayStation Move compatibility, and a demo available as well, Puddle is set to make a big splash on PlayStation Network.

You may have seen EA’s news predicting the Super Bowl winners with Madden NFL 12. If you haven’t picked up this year’s edition yet, you can set up your own Super Bowl match yourself as it’s now available in the PS3 Full Games category. Joining it is also Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, its predecessor Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, and Mini Ninjas. PlayStation Plus subscribers will have access to a 1 hour rental of all of these via Full Game Trials as well.

Twisted Metal fans; the big day is almost here. Although you won’t be able to buy the game until February 14th, the demo is now available to download! Get your hands on the new online multiplayer experience in classic Free for All or the all-new Nuke mode. In other demo news, Syndicate is also now available to try via a 4 player co-op demo.

Since the new PlayStation Plus content for February, announced earlier today, won’t be hitting until next week, this week is your last chance to get some of January’s free content like Back To The Future: The Game – Full Series, PS one Classics Syphon Filter 1-3, and PSN Game Sword and Soldiers. But with January’s final update for Plus subscribers, there’s plenty of new Full Game Trials as well as some great new free Avatars and Themes. Check out the Abstract Art theme in particular.

That’s all for this week. Check out the full details of this week’s update below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments below or join the discussion on the PlayStation Community forums in the Official PlayStation Store Update thread.

Here is the weekly PlayStation Store update:
