Man, my friend and I started playing Dead Nation on Grim and you can't really just expect to just fly by and start shooting random zombies. I can't even imagine how hard undead is. We died at least 3 times on the very first bridge, but then we got a hang of it. We still died about once after each checkpoint though.

Has it been said when's the last day you can redeem the freebies? I wanna wait to redeem the PS+ because isn't the Uncharted 3 Beta coming this month?

June 28th is the Uncharted 3 beta.

I'm trying to download Infamous as my first free game right now but I'm not sure if it's working. It's still at 0% and keeps fluctuating between 450-480 minutes remaining on the download. Is it really going to take that long or should I restart it? CAN I restart the download or will it only let me do it once?

I just logged on and started the DL for my 2 free games (LBP and Wipeout). I had to go through Acct Mgmt (see post #447).
I see they added background downloads. I assume I have to leave the PS3 on.

As in, multiple items downloading at the same time? Or do you mean downloading while doing other things (like browsing the XMB, etc.)?

If you're referring to the latter, that's been available for at least as long as I've owned my PS3, since summer 2008.

Background downloading has been there for ages. You can even play games that don't have an online component and the DL will still continue.

Of course you have to leave the PS3 on, how else would it download something?

If you select the shut off option, it will give you the choice to finish the DL and then shut down. That way it's not left on all night.

I can't connect to Sportsconnect right now through The Show. It brings up a pop up letting me know it's retrieving the user agreement but after about 15 seconds it tells me the connection's been lost.

I also can't load any files, which is kind of weird. At the Save/Load/Delete menu screen, if I click load, it tells me that there is no saved data. If I go to delete, it shows all my files right there.

Frustrating. Are all my files toast?

No problems here. I successfully downloaded Infamous & Dead Nation today while I was playing Resistance.

I downloaded Wipeout and Dead Nation. Love both games but Wipeout sure does make you dizzy after a few games.

Edit: I downloaded Infamous and Dead Nation on my Profile and downloaded Wipeout on my Brother's.

I downloaded Infamous, but I can't seem to download any of PS3 games, so there ripping me right now, When I go to get a game, the PS3 game choice is gone. Anyway have this happen to them?

Hi FF, selected both free ps3 games and only decided to download 1 game at a time because of the traffic. i downloaded dead nation and came back to the ps3 later to download lbp and it wasn't available. i found this online and i was able to get back to the promotion to download lbp:

"Account Management > Transaction Management> Services List> Scea Promotion> Pick one of the options and see which free voucher you have not used."

I did do this, my issues there are other choices accept for PS3 games anymore. So once I downlaoded Infamous the PS3 selection box is no longer there.

Can't decide between LBP and Dead Nation. I am for sure getting Infamous.
