Gah, I forgot about that update issue first. I'm sorry haha. Glad to see you got it resolved. I also didn't realize you had a Slim.

Well the restore went fine. The only thing I had to do after that was sync trophies and for some reason re-activate the system.
I noticed this when i couldn't use my themes. It said the system needed activated first.....

Other than that it was smooth. Going to copy my music over to it and then watch for freebies every month

Heads up guys - PSN downloads are S - L - O - W today. More so than usual, and some people on the NCAA board have said they can't even get their download started. I was at least able to get Rainbow Moon going, but it's only a 2 GB download and it'll probably take around 2 hours by the time it's done.

Good to see the update going up early, at least...

Is it already up? I'm waiting on a LBP Karting beta invite, perhaps.

I was able to download MW3 maps during the middle of the night, but they took forever as well, and they were pretty small.

Yeah, it's up, at least for me anyway - I can see all the new stuff this week including NCAA and Game of Thrones.

Don't beta invites usually come via e-mail though? Every one I've gotten has been like that.

Not sure. I've only had one beta invite before, and I can't remember how it came through. I was thinking maybe it was a PSN message.

Did you request an invite? If so, let me know if you get one.

From what I've read around, the LBPK beta codes are coming through email. No luck for me or anyone else on my FL.

I can tell I'm going to be spending a lot of time on Rainbow Moon. Quite a bit of depth for a $15 RPG, including picking which certain stats you want to upgrade with rainbow crystals (there's a ceiling based on your level though), item customizing, and several side "fetch" quests just in the first town. There's also two difficulty modes and several pre-sets to start the game - I went with Hard and the "adventuresome" preset that starts you with absolutely nothing, and had my hands full with even 2 of the most basic enemies in the beginning! It was quite the grind just to build up enough coins to buy some equipment, but it was worth going through that school of hard knocks to get acquainted with the battle system.

Oh, btw, you're not going to cheat the game by leaving the PS3 on for that 100 hours trophy - the game autopauses (and stops that timer) after about 30 seconds of inactivity.

Did you request an invite and not get one? Because I registered with two different usernames (my family account) and got invited for both, in case I didn't get one. Would you like me to PM you my extra code? Would it even work for you, or is it tied to my specific account?

Don't believe it's tied to a specific account - all you need is the code.
