Pretty sure they stack just like PSN ones do. Not 100% sure as I always used mine one at a time but I dont see why they wouldnt.

EDIT: After looking it up it seems like you can stack cards but not subscriptions it seems. By this I mean if you buy a Monthly Gold Subscription of 12 months then purchase a 12 month redeemable card, they wont stack. If you buy two 12 month cards and redeem them then they will stack. The max is up to 36 months.

I'm tempted to trade in my day 1 for an elite console. What do you do with your current console before trade in? Just factory reset? Also I'm assuming they will give me the 250 for console without Kinect?

Just factory reset and it wipes it...Take it to GS and they give you 250 towards the Elite...You pay 250 and get an extra new controller with the 3.5 jack and a new game starting midnight tonight till sunday

The Elite console is snapier and faster then standard...games load and install quicker

I was hoping you didn't even need a controller. That knocks 60 bucks off the value right there.

Was thinking I would trade in just the console and the cords for 250. Having to throw in a controller I just bought eats into the value too. Might not be worth it just for 500gbs of space and an elite controller at that point.

it is well worth it for the elite controller alone and is not just extra space...is a hybrid sshd drive....

Just factory reset and it wipes it...Take it to GS and they give you 250 towards the Elite...You pay 250 and get an extra new controller with the 3.5 jack and a new game starting midnight tonight till sunday

The Elite console is snapier and faster then standard...games load and install quicker

I read somewhere though that you probably just want to factory reset a Xbox One after they test it, because otherwise you sit there forever while it loads the patches and whatnot.

I probably won't go Elite, but it is tempting, oh so tempting....

Well of course...Is like selling a car with no tires...They are not going to give 250 for something they have to sell and put in extra with a new controller.

You need the console cords and controller...No box required

no patches because is not online...They just make sure is good...Patches stay on consoles..You are just wiping your info

to me going elite is the best choice and smartest choice...spending another 120 to get a basic 500gb non hybrid sshd console with a standard controller and game is very nice but you are so close to the elite that will get you a superior controller..I cannot stop playing my xbox one without it and is well worth the money once you feel it in your hands and see what it can do

And more space and with a hybrid drive that installs game disc games much much faster and loads games and apps much faster...WIN WIN

No way the elite controller alone is worth 250 for me. That is what I will have to throw in to get this deal done. I'm fine with load times and such on my current one so that doesn't hold much value for me. The extra space is always nice though.

if you go and buy a new drive and the elite controller...How much will that cost you? Would it not cost you more then 250 and not to mention you are getting a free game as well of your choice....Is not even close

you go buy cod for example, elite controller and new drive it will run you about 330 or so...taxes included of course.

And not to mention they are throwing in an extra controller as well which you can flip online for 45 to 50

You said it's worth it for the new controller alone though. I'm swimming in external hds so I already pretty much have unlimited space. The controller is good to have but I already have two brand new ones so I would essentially have 3 controllers I would barely ever use after I do this trade in.


The more I think about it it's probably not worth it for me right now. Tempting though. Only games I'm interested in that I don't have right now are tomb raider and fallout. Don't think I can do this deal with either.

Not even close to $330...the elite controller is $150. 1TB ehd is 60 or so. And CoD is $60. With a 5% sales tax it comes out to be 283.50

you already installed the patches on your consoles...When you do a factory reset it just deletes the data but the patch stays on the console...So gamestop will turn it on and just have to create an account off line which they do quickly and that is that...

Non Elite 1tb are standard mechanical drives...The SSHD Hybrid drive is mechanical but with a solid state partition that will make games load and install 20% faster...I can attest to that
