Microsoft's E3 might as well start with a bunch of backtracking on all these features. Their games can't fix this ****storm now.

There will probably be an insert in the game case with a serial #.

PC games had CD keys(not as common these days, although I haven't bought a physical disc in some years) that you had to input before installing. I assume it'll be similar to that.

The fact that the guy in that article posted by Flawless says "We listen for Xbox On" makes me laugh a little.

Bluray pressings can be embedded with keys (google "rom mark"), Sony can and already does this with the PS3, when you buy a PS3 game that is also on Vita. They call the feature "disc benefits" and it registers the disc to your account unlocking the Vita game on PSN.

This thread has gotten completely out of control. You really think MS wants to watch a pudgy 26 year old eat Doritos and Frap to Princess Leia? Ridiculous.

All they are trying to do is get kinect more involved in the development process, and who knows, maybe someone will make a killer app for it.

If you don't like it plug it in and throw it behind the console. Boom your fine. They already stated you can do everything without the kinect.

Me thinks all of this arguing signifies that the user base has been a bit split whether you want to defend it or not and M$ has lost some people with this change.

LOL, I had a vision of a bunch of guys sitting in a surveillance room with headsets on, hopping up saying "oh that's my queue!", and manually turning your XBO on for you...

You're right...They're just trying to use it to let us search for tv shows and stuff. I know a lot of people don't like or care about those features, but they are pretty neat.

Our phones have front cameras, do people worry about Apple watching us talk on the phone? Can someone explain how Kinect privacy issue are making you scream, whereas you carry a phone with the same capabilities and yet don't worry about it at all?
