    58"?

That's an odd size. I know they wanna phase out 60s (some companies) but a 58?

Think you can find this for around 400.

I've heard nothing but great things about that TCL P Series. The closest Walmart was always sold out when I was in the market for a 4k TV a few months ago. Ended up getting a Sony XBR x800e.

I’d give the edge to Sony in a head to head, much better processing.

I hear you, and just my opinion, but I’d probably try to save an extra $100 or more if I were you and get that TCL P or get something a little better since most people hold TVs for a very long time and get something they’ll give you a decent picture.

That TV only accepts an HDR signal actually

That is not true. It has a 10 bit hdr display. You have to turn on ultra deep black on the HDMI port you want to use for hdr.

Yeah, i did a lot of research (check the TV thread in E&T) but they're right that the TCL listed gets you the best HDR for your buck right now. I keep my tvs a long time, so was worth the couple hundred more when I won't be buying anything new for years.

Whatever you say. I’m not gonna argue. It doesn’t have a wide color gamut, so it can’t display it properly.

So I’m a little lost, if a TV doesn’t support WCG and it supports HDR , it’s not really HDR?
