I realize that XB1 was in 13 different markets, while PS4 was 1 mil in just North America but that isn't my point in case someone tries to turn this into a competition thing lol.

Absolutely no serious issues here, no lag in games, only have to repeat voice commands sometimes, and trying to learn the xbone commands. Also tried a blue ray movie last night, no problems.

Funny - I think the exact opposite. My initial impressions tell me that games can get better on the XB1, but Sony can't offer was MS can and will in other areas.

In terms of an entertainment piece - I couldn't be more impressed by the Xbox One. As far as gaming goes, I'm enjoying the PS4 slightly more and it does seem to be the better gaming system in terms of performance. But it is also much hotter, prone to more failures from what I am reading (I've have had the system freeze on me twice) and feels more "bare bones" than the Xbox.

MS has a winner here. Simply integrating into my TV experience alone has me sold. Those that want to experience the future NOW will be doing so with the Xbox. Sony has a nice system that is focused solely on gaming while MS is offering much more.

Glad X1 has also had a relatively smooth launch. The bottom line is both machines need to stick around and both machines offer different things for different people.
I'm not into the multimedia integration so PS4 is my system of choice since I just want a gaming machine. Those that are into more MM stuff have the X1 to turn to.

What I'm most happy about is it seems up to this point (at least here at OS )is it's been civil discussions so far lol

I have this one from Monoprice and it works pretty well splitting my cable box between two TVs, but I have not tried with the One yet. I got a late start setting things up tonight, but planning to try it sometime this weekend so that I can order another if it and the One get along with each other.

Tried out the splitter I mentioned above this morning splitting the HDMI signal from a Cisco 8742HDC cable box to the Xbox One (hooked straight into a LG television) and a Yamaha receiver...and it worked!

Sometimes I have handshake issues (when it is in its normal setup between two TVs) when the power goes out or my cable box gets flaky, but it worked well in my test setup.

Obviously, this is going to be a YMMV situation since most of us have different equipment (TVs, receivers, cable boxes, etc), but I can say the splitter worked for me splitting the signal between two devices.

Ok have to say that I am loving this piece of hardware here, saying Xbox do this and that is so nice. I really wish MS hadn't change from their initial plan and I hope it's determined how digital can be sold back cause i'm so ready for it now after experiencing what this Xbox can do. Everything has been working really good so far, I have had a little lag in COD and I HATE the install times but other than that it's been a great experience

Xbox Fitness...makes working out pretty fun with all of the challenges and such...did one of the 10 minute workout a couple times this morning to get the hang of it. Make sure you have plenty of room to move around and for the Kinect to see you. It will be interesting to see how much it will cost once the free period ends...I could see myself buying another Xbox One for my workout area if the price for the fitness stays free/very affordable.

Sold my PS4 for $540 last night, going to call GameStops tonight to see if anyone did not pick up their preorder, then I will stand in the snow tomorrow to get one!

I'm getting two games, Madden and Battlefield. Any peripherals I need?

After spending about 12 hours with the XB1 I can say that it exceededy expectations. Dr3 is very fun with a friend and 2k looks amazing!
