You don't understand why I would complain about having a re=chargable controller with out a charging cable? Do you like them including a charger with your new phone? I mean, you can always just buy new batteries for your phone, but isn't having a charger to charge said phone convenient?

I'm a parent too...rather not buy batteries all the time.

Join the club. I asked the same thing yesterday. No replies. I'm pretty sure they are having some issues with joining/party. Or they made huge mistakes making it this difficult to join your friends.

Can you let me know what commands you are trying? Have you calibrated Kinect? Have you signed in?

I have been too busy with work to play games on my Xbox One yet, so I'm not an expert, but I heard that you have to enable party chat for it to work.

Was then stuck in the create mode for MyTeam, didn't see a way to exit, go back, obviously can't go to dashboard like on the 360 where it would end the game or anything. So I just hit the eject on the console...surely i'm missing something?
Go to the Home screen, then hit the Menu (used to be Start) button on the controller and a menu pops up with a quit option.

I must admit, now that I broke down and bought it, the Kinect and TV stuff is rather cool. Not something that would have sold me, but neat to have nonetheless. Having a good time so far with DR, Forza and Killer Instinct.

You could just use a micro usb cable and use it as a wired controller.

I'm confused about this comment. It's not a re-chargeable controller. If they included a cable, you would still need a battery pack to have the controller used wirelessly. I like that they give us the option of regular AA batteries, rechargeable batteries, or their battery pack. I have some Sanyo eneloop rechargeables and they work great. When those batteries run out, I can just pop in some charged ones and I'm back to gaming. When my PS4 controller runs out, I have to stop and wait for the controller to charge unless I get a long usb cable.

That's splitting hairs. Of course when I say it's a re-chargable controller I mean give me the darn two re-chargable AA batteries that I have to buy in the play and charge kit along with the charge cable to begin with. Don't make me buy them separately.

I'm kinda surprised people are ok with this. You'd think more people would expect that. I see the advantage if you want to use some enloops, but it just seems like they would include this in such an expensive piece of hardware.
