I am pretty sure everyone assumed there would be a Titanfall bundle, it's been teased for 2 months.

But what I mean is that you're all worked up on here, making phone calls, etc. All that takes a toll. Either deal with it or just do the return. Making phone calls and complaining isn't accomplishing anything. I get it, it sucks that you're out $60, but it happens all the time. Can't tell you how many times I've bought a game to only have it drop $20-$30 a month later.

I get what you're saying, but I'm really not all that worked up about it. I made a call, lasted five minutes and that's it. I posted online about it, but only because I wanted to reply to someone. I don't know if I would have posted otherwise.

With the upcoming headset adapter I can plug in any 3.5mm headset and it'll work, right? Thinking of getting a separate adapter for my pc headset to go from 2 plugs (1 audio, 1 Mic) to the 3.5mm plug...should let that work for game audio and live chat audio/Mic right?

Can anyone confirm this for me?

I dont mind the bundle...I'm happy with my Christmas gift....I've long since learned not to get annoyed about little deals like this

I believe this has been confirmed. I just don't have the link for you. Pretty sure the set just needs a four pole connector to work with audio and chat.

You would be better off going to GameStop buying Ryse used then returning it 7 days using their guarantee. It's definitely worth playing. I have it but it is short. It has multiplayer though. Think batman Arkham challenge maps with a coop player if you have played batman. So if you think you can get into the multiplayer it's worth 40.

Interesting times are afoot.

According to an internal memo, Elop will replace Julie Larson-Green as the head of Microsoft's Devices and Studios business, putting him in charge of Xbox, Microsoft Surface, and Microsoft's game development efforts, in addition to the new cellular handset business.

Mind you, this is the same guy that wanted to kill off Bing and sell the XBox (and other) divisions off if he was picked as the CEO.

Elon didn't say he wanted to sell off XBox. He said he would if it proved to be advantageous, and if it made sense. To me, it would only make sense at the end of the console's life cycle. The beginning is where they make consoles at the biggest loss, so to sell off now, months after launch would be stupid.

Do you have a link to that quote?....because I'm pretty sure he is rumored to have said "if it didn't fit into the MS strategy"....which is quite a bit different than..." if it proved to be advantageous"...

Granted...it's someone else saying he said that....and not a direct quote....but I haven't found Bloomberg Tech to be fast and loose with printing items they don't feel confident about the source material.

Only time will tell.

(and...I have to disagree about the timing....the beginning of the new cycle is a great time to sell off a division....companies would likely feel that it has the most growth potential with MS laying all the groundwork. Very little for them to do except reap in the profits)

I'm sure they have a $$$ amount of all the research and development into the system...and would have to recoup a percentage of it in any deal.
They are certainly not going to give XBox division away.

These companies don't make any money on the consoles themselves. They make money on the software. It would be silly to sell and let another company have your profits. Xbox is doing fine. Not as good as Sony but it's not in trouble. Did anyone not expect the cheaper console to sell a **** ton more units? I find it crazy how people in threads like that overreact. I'm sure some are just trolling though.
