October is going to be a packed month. Mordor, Evil Within and Unity are guarantees with Dragon Age and Lords 50/50. I have no interest in the other games.

I'm gonna be loving 2015 though with all these amazing games on sale that I haven't played lol

I'll probably get Madden to keep forever (or at least a 2 year cycle so I have a football game to play against my niece), and then 1 or 2 more games in the fall....maybe something for Christmas, but nothing can account for the craziness of this fall.

That's why I feel more companies should release in spring/summer...If amazing games dropped now I'd have a better chance buying them vs. a crowded October or November.

What type of time frame are we looking at for the slim versions of the Xbone? I want to get one, but won't seriously consider it until it's slimmed down.

2-3 years if not longer. Will be a bit before you can shrink these components and maintain the heat dissipation without much noise in a device designed to be on 24/7 for a decade.

Unrelated, saw some tweets that as of the last update the Xbox One has the 360's capabilities to let you download a demo of say Strider, and then purchase the full version in-flight, as in not needing to download the rest. The way all arcade games were last gen. Hopefully that's a thing going forward.

Yeah 2015 makes things worse, especially out of the gate in the first two months with

Batman
The Witcher III

I don't know where Quantum Break will fall in there but I'm thinking within the first five months of 2015. The Division is in there somewhere. Don't know where Rainbow Six will drop. Halo 5 is late but that's six games already I know I'm there day one for next year.

While I currently only own a PS4, Quantum Break is definitely on my list as it relates to eventually buying an Xbox One. I dont see it coming out until late 2015 especially since it was a no show at E3. As of right now, I only want to play Ryse. Everything else is third party which can be played on either console.

The Division and Siege are both on my list but I see Siege as a 2016 title with The Division as late 2015. Early 2015 for Ubisoft is rumored to be Assassin's Creed for 360 and PS3 where you play as a Templar.

You have Halo 5 while I have Uncharted 4 but here's my 15 game list for 2015 thus far -

1) Mad Max, 2) Batman: Arkham Knight, 3) The Witcher 3, 4) Division, 5) Siege, 6) MGS V, 7) AC 2015, 8) Madden NFL 16, 9) Tomb Raider 2, 10) Lara Croft 2, 11) No Man's Sky and PS4 exclusives, The Order: 1886, Uncharted 4, Bloodborne and Let It Die.

15 games excluding PSN/Indies, unannounced titles, Xbox 360 games like AC and Xbox One/Wii U games if I buy either or both consoles in 2015. I will definitely surpass 15 games in 2015 guaranteed.

^^ uggh I forgot about Tomb Raider 2, Mad Max (although I might not get), MGS V. Completely forgot about them.

Mad Max is a game im hoping turns out good. TR 2 should be better than the first one. MGS V though is 50/50 for me.

Got a problem here, looking for a bit of help guys.. When I bought my kinect-less XB1 it of course came with one controller, and I bought an extra that came with the play/charge kit. I've used both controllers on their own with no problems, but usually after the first day or so, only the rechargeable one.

Last night we go to try and hook up both controllers to play madden and forza, and the second controller won't connect. Just tries, then powers off. I thought the batteries may be dead, so I changed them. Same thing. I could hook it up directly with a USB cable, but eventually it just stopped responding.

Ended up running out to buy a new one, that worked just fine. So, I'm guessing its something with the controller.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm toying with the idea of picking up an xbox one. If I do I'll be getting the one that does not include the connect . A friend I've had for 11 years on live got his X1 a couple days ago, so I was asking him several questions about it.

One question, and an important one for me was, if your hard drive is full and you need room for a new game can you delete a single older game to free up space. He seemed to think you could only delete all games or none, not one or two at a time. Is this the case?

I though you had to be able to. He couldn't seem to find a way to do it, but he is in his mid 60's. Lol.
As soon as I sell one of my smaller drum kits I'm getting a X1!
