The free games don't really bother me. The deals with gold selection this week kind of bothers me more.

For the people that received $35 promotion from Amazon, did you enter a code a checkout of the Madden Bundle because Amazon isn't trying to give me my $35 because I didn't enter a code.

The only code I entered was the one to install the game.

Honestly on Xbox One there's only so much they can offer until after Christmas...then I bet we get DR3, AC4, stuff like that once a new version's out.

Yeah hopefully the games start getting better. I understand it's slim pickings right now.

Just wanted to highly recommend this. I was doing it for my controller and thought it was WAY better value than my 360's play and charge kit, the batteries last forever and it was the best value-add I've purchased for any console imo. I work in TV and camera men use these things they are so reliable and long-lasting.
Are you saying sanyo specifically is a great buy or just rechargable battieries in general?

The rechargeables are great. They are the only batteries I use in my Gaming Controllers/Cameras. Definitely worth the money

This was a nice update, especially the social side of things. Adding the record a game clip from Smartglass is nice too.

I think it is a good idea in general, but I believe those are the ones most people swear by and get some of the best reviews. Since 2006 I have used rechargeables in my 360 and One. I initially had a pack of 4 energizers, then bought this 4 pack on 2/10/2010:

                          http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And I still use these 4 to this day. At this point they dont last quite as long as new standard AA batteries, I would guess they currently last maybe 2/3 as long. but to have gone 4.5 years on 4 batteries on what I would guess about 10 hours per week, that's a much better value. I still only change them every 2 or 3 weeks and simple enough to swap them in the controller/on the charger.

Here is a link to a list that MS put out a while back, not sure if all of these are supported at launch though....

Today we’re rolling out several of the new social and entertainment features we shared earlier this week, in addition to a few unannounced features, to the members previewing new system updates. Thanks to feedback from fans on feedback.xbox.com for playing a big role in shaping these updates, which will roll out to all Xbox One owners in the coming months.
