Re: Xbox 720
It's exactly what it will come down to, Sony has a bunch of 1st party studios to crank out exclusives and MS will partner with and/or pay studios for exclusives.
Nothing sad about it, it's how the industry works (especially for Nintendo).
For competition's sake, we're better off with equivalent systems differentiated by software anyways.
I know it's part of the competition, but if it's going to be that many games, then I guess I'll never get the chance to play some great ones. And not a few.My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment

Re: Xbox 720
really looking forward to this reveal, debating if I want to get any console when they first launch but also with all the great looking games coming out right before thinking whether to hold off on games till I get a new console or get the games when they release and hold off till the new year on the console.Last edited by Sinner; 05-20-2013, 04:30 PM.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: Xbox 720
I just hope this next gen not only adds some original IP's but also add some user content to the mix.
Would love to see Tiger Woods golf add a course designer, the ability to print out rosters in sports games etc...

Re: Xbox 720
Related, Marvel Now! is the imprint Marvel is using for their recent relaunch/event that they'll probably be using for the forseeable future.
I mean in a way I can make it work for me... Now! implies the immediate availability of everything, the rumored play during an install/demo download, always on, HDMI passthrough so that you don't even have to change sources on your TV/receiver to access content/games, etc... I can rationalize it plenty and if that's it I'm sure we'll get used to it... would probably prefer Infinity, Fusion, etc over it.
Guess im looking for the name of a product, and Xbox Now! sounds like an initiative or program instead. I suppose if the ecosystem is deconstructed and spread across PCs, phones, tablets and also the console, that makes plenty of sense too.
We'll see tomorrow.
Annoyed now that my day is filling up, meetings from 10am-1pm PST.Comment

Re: Xbox 720
Xbox reveal related?
...
I'm not saying it will happen (FIFA 07 on the 360 did though), but the majority of money will come from the current-gen versions, so getting a timed exclusive on a next-gen version isn't going to "kill the business".Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
