I'm close to biting again, too... the gainsharing bonus I got today isn't helping at all. - my son has been asking too, and would probably use it the majority of the time. I'm sure I'd find some time to enjoy as well though.

I've seen it in person. That's not really my point though. There is just not much 4k content out there. I know Netflix has some but it's pretty much non existent directv and cable wise. I don't see 4k as a valid reason to not hook an Xbox one up through your cable box right now.

You're lucky to get 1080p when it comes to pay TV providers. Almost everything is 1080i.

Not if you have a 4K tv like I do...There are lots of new great shows on netflix in 4k and more keep getting added.

Yeah, was gonna say....most cable providers have bandwidth issues and compress crap as well.....

True but it does not mean that Halo 5 should be suspect. When the beta ran smoothly

The reason I don't hook up my tv to the xbox one is because I dont need to have my xbox on to watch tv. There is no reason for it.

My smart tv does anything xbox one can in terms of media except snap tv

It has an I.R blaster that can set up with my Verizon Fios to give me the guide and it has better You Tube and Netflix and HBO Go versions then consoles.

TV usage is great for those that want to use it but it is not required to enjoy the xbox one

Netflix is not cable though. I'm talking about tv not streaming services.

There's not a lot at this point. Everything that's available on Netflix can be seen quickly and that's still not going to look as good as 4k bluray when that comes out.

The Black List in 4K via Samsung Smart TV 4K tv's looks just as good if not better then a blur ray version.

Have you seen them in 4K on Netflix on a 4K tv?

Yeah I'll start getting interested in 4k once bluray starts happening.
