How funny would it be if they launched it with COD but it was a code that you had to use to get a digital copy of it?

That's what it would be a code for digital, just like with Fifa (for the select few countries in europe it applies too)...

I have read that a few places online the last day & a half.

If that happened it would be a monstrous "catch up" move by MS.

It would move an insane amount of units and they'd be right back in the mix instantaneously.

They wouldn't need to give away COD. For that crowd the next gen console that comes out on the release of their favorite day rather than two weeks later will make their decision for them.

Had a long day dealing w/ our 2 y/o son, taking him to pediatricians office (in the perfect part of the day to completely interrupt any kind of nap schedule) and then taking care of him the rest of the day (this isn't really bad/hard, just tiring, and it's 105 out). Finally got him to bed an hour or so ago and came in and just kinda collapsed into my computer chair with no real idea of what to play to unwind/relax. As I'm clicking around, my wife walks in:

"you've had a bad day, didn't want to tell you until I got it, but to cheer you up I'll let just tell you... I'm buying you an Xbox One. Hope that makes the day a little better. I love you."

I love this woman.

That is so very nice. I've been there and understand how precious that nap time is. Very key decisions are often decided upon around nap time.

Just a heads up to anyone looking for a Xbox one Pre order. Gamestops website is saying this is the last day to Pre order one. Not sure if they will open it up again so jump on it while you can.

Perhaps they want to announce it at PAX Prime, which is being held in Seattle next week.
