Talked to a 2k rep at the nba2k event and he said the same thing. Says the games are similar on both systems but prefers the ps4. He also disliked the new xb1 controller. Said the triggers were awkward. Didn't understand that.

The way I see it everyone has their likes and dislikes about the next gen systems. It all comes to what system you like most. Not anyone else.

Well I ain't had neither in my hand and want until next month. But when it came to ps3 controller. I didn't like the lower back buttons when I played with it a few years ago. How different the ps4 controller will be compared to ps3 I don't know. But I love XBox 360 controller and I'm sure it will be similar to the XB1 version. But like with anything. It just takes time to use to it. It's new. People need to give it time.

I have had discussion with a lead dev, and from his words, the PS4 is the way I will be going on ALL multi-platform titles. If it were a run of the mill report, whatever, but not in this case.

Well then, looks like I'm going that way, too.

Totally true. I actually like both controllers a lot.

I think this is the biggest news out of everything for me. I fully expected the XBone controller to continue it's natural progression and be awesome like the 360 controller. Hearing that you really like the DS4 is also great - I love the PS controller design and stuff (always have) but it's always been a bit on the small side and I would get cramps from using it at times when I played games requiring me to be fairly active with the controller.

Finished paying off Ryse and Dead Rising 3.

Yea I got about 150$ left on my Xbox one and got two games left to pay off. Then I got to buy me a battery/charge kit which is about 25$. Plus get my a one year card and then I will done as well. Don't you just love this time of year.

P.S. While I don't play with 95% people on my friends list on live as it is. If you want to send me your GT anytime in the next 30 days. I would hit you up with an invite to DR3 and we can kill some zombies together.

If it weren't for Ryse and Dead Rising 3, I'd be a one console person this gen. But unfortunately, the launch exclusives are much more enticing on the One. I'm definitely not steering anyone one way or another, but wanted at least my OS bretheren to be somewhat enlightened if you're on the fence, and the multi-platform titles are what you're interested in.

DR3 is one of the main games I'm looking forward to playing next month. Aside from NBA2k14 and Madden25. COD Ghost is a game I will play here and there, but still get it for next gen.

Mikami has been pretty anti-Sony in the past and has said some rather nasty comments about their consoles (and other electronic products) on multiple occasions.

Mikami claimed that the PS1 and PS2 were purposefully designed to fail so that people would have to purchase a replacement which was the only reason for its successful sales figures, then proceeded to call people who purchased Sony consoles "fools."

Mikami scheduled private meetings with Nintendo and Microsoft to talk about moving RE to their console so that he could come up with an excuse to give Capcom as to why he wanted to shift the Resident Evil games away from the PS2, which was the best selling console at the time.

Mikami was quoted saying that he would "commit hara-kiri" if RE4 was ever ported to the PS2.

That guy is now making a new claim disparaging Sony's new console? Colour me not surprised. We already know the specs of both consoles, so I wouldn't exactly call a 1.18 to 1.84 difference with the GPU "almost identical."
