They are stored in the cloud in the sense that you can download all your digital content to any xbox one if your logged in. You still have to have the games installed to your internal HDD to play.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

So I'm trying to wrap my head around the X1's TV features.

Okay, I've got my DirecTV DVR, which connects to my TV. If I instead connect it to my Xbox One, I can watch TV through it, but then how do I access my DVR?

I'm sure you can with voice/kinect or xb1 controller, but if not you will still be able to use your regular dtv remote.

The Xbox One does not control your DVR right now.

Played some Forza 5 today. Very smooth and very beautiful, which was expected.

The main thing I came away liking was the controller. The rumble is awesome the way it's done, and I'll probably pick one up for PC before I even buy a system. Only slight mark against it was that I prefer the heaviness of the 360 controller over it personally.

The UI is so beautiful. Kinect is actually starting to grow on me more and more. It's all just so beautiful...

Stolen from GAF, some Amazon achievements. Challenges is a neat idea.

You can pick up COD Ghost from gamestop. First of the Xbox One games to hit shelves.

Does anyone know if you can play music from a thumbdrive while playing a game on the One? On the 360 it says go to the dashboard to play it

In theory though they want to...with the crazy IR blasters they have it's all possible.

Well it will interact with it, just likely not do anything that doesn't have a button. I wonder if/how things like 'list' will work. Either way your remote will still be available and I think we can expect this functionality to only get better.

I'd grow very loyal very quickly to a cable or sat provider that builds more 'open' boxes with APIS to let developers pull data from them like shows stored on the DVR so devices can tap into them and create richer experiences.

There's no reason it wouldn't. It'll work on most if not all television screens.

I thought that was their goal...where you can see what shows are on via Xbox stuff and then it does the button presses (or whatever). That may be super ambitious though, and we haven't really heard any details on this as of yet.

This is one of the things that intrigues me though. Being able to say "Turn on ESPN" and have it change my channel to ESPN HD on my cable box....
