Re: Xbox One
his console still works and his gamertag still works on his 360 so the only ban is his console going onto live. And that isn't permanent and he will probably be allowed back on to live on the 22nd.Very much agree there. But I think it is wrong to ban the guy tho. The best thing for them to is unbanned the console or give the guy anew one. It's wrong to make this guy waste his money for nothing. It ain't right what so ever. But on the other the guy should have known better to go online 2 weeks before it was release. But it happens. MS should be nice enough to unbanned his console once release day comes.
but I would still be happy to be in that position where I could still play games even if I can't be online.Comment

Re: Xbox One
So are all of the side-by-side comparisons where the reviewer said the only real difference is the graphics not the gameplay bothering anyone else? It almost Makes me think it would be better to hold off a little while until you reach the point where they can include improved the gameplay.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Re: Xbox One
I think this is truly possible if Elop is named. There are many other references made by Elop that suggests the same thing. Lets hope Microsoft looks elsewhere.
If Stephen Elop becomes Microsoft's (NASDAQ: MSFT ) next CEO, the company could sell its Xbox division, according to Bloomberg. Reuters reports that Elop is one of five final candidates Microsoft is considering to succeed Steve Ballmer, making an Xbox spinoff possible, perhaps even likely. If Microsoft sells the Xbox division, it would be a disaster both for Microsoft investors and for gamers.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-1...ows-shift.htmlBesides emphasizing Office, Elop would be prepared to sell or shut down major businesses to sharpen the company’s focus, the people said. He would consider ending Microsoft’s costly effort to take on Google with its Bing search engine, and would also consider selling healthy businesses such as the Xbox game console if he determined they weren’t critical to the company’s strategy, the people said.Comment

Re: Xbox One
All's well that ends well in this case. Glad MS extended this user an olive branch of sorts.

Re: Xbox One
More concerning that the system offline/no internet he says plays more like the 1st xbox.
Other than that of course this worked out in a good way for him and he got his 15 minutes of fame at MS shame of course. The gaming community has been pretty loud on alot of issues this time around...some of it not necessary, and some of it helped.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Yea I knew he doesn't have no access until a few days before the system is release. Also know that he is able to play it offline as well. But nice that MS didn't banned his system from online for good. Since all this was Target fault in the first place and MS even admitted is was target fault. So in all things are resolve and things are fine for the young man. I'm glad for him.

Re: Xbox One
I'm really trying to make since of all this. But bottom line I just don't see Bill Gates allow someone to come in and just destroy a company he spent decades building up. I also don't see MS selling off Xbox just like that. I'm not really worried about XBox division going anywhere time soon. Because Xbox is one of their main cash cows. If it happens. The worst that can happen is either some other person buys it and make it work or everyone jumps the sinking ship and jump over to PS4. There is our options for the future.I think this is truly possible if Elop is named. There are many other references made by Elop that suggests the same thing. Lets hope Microsoft looks elsewhere.

I hope M$ got him to sign a NDA.
I really want there to be all this press about the consoles and see what its like before I get it but at the same time I love the excitement level that on Thursday I am gonna pick up a console and have no idea and will experience it all first hand and not having seen it in a video.
But if a video dropped I wouldn't have patience not to watch it lolGo Lions, Wings and Wolverines!Comment
