Ryse has downloaded 50% and it boots up but I still can't play. On the PS4 when 2K installed to about 8% I could play spurs vs heat.

anyone else having problems with their Avatar? I tried both going to customize avatar, and take gamer pic with avatar, and both telle me "something went terribly wrong"

Yeah mine wouldn't let me change anything. Kept getting the same error

Montgomery county MD, and there's ZERO chance it'll be a day one. What's got me pissed is they have charged me, but don't have it to ship. I just went round and round with a supervisor for like half an hour. She said she'd let me know if they have to cancel the order all together, but to check back around Tuesday, SMH...

Other thing that is pissing me off about this mess is wednesday amazon had some extra day one editions go up for sale, yet the one I ordered 6 months ago is nowhere go be found...

Where you at in MoCo? I'm in Alexandria and got both of my orders this afternoon around 2:30. If I were you I'd try complaining more and getting more promotional credit.

I love the TV Integration but I'm a little weary of always having to have the XB1 turned on to use it. My cable box has both HDMI out and Component inputs. I'm going to try to hook up both to see if it works. I'd hate for the wife and/or company to have to turn on my XB1 to watch TV if I'm not here.

What's the make and model of your STB? Who's your provider?



Try rebooting. That happens sometimes, I've never been able to make it repro, but we've seen it. Maybe a hard reboot is needed.

Has anything been said about when certain workouts will be added to Xbox Fitness? Really looking forward to having Insanity on there but looks like there are only a few workouts available so far.

Man I'm getting kinda worried Ghost wouldn't install past 1% even thought I waited like 30 mins. And it was done downloading the update for the game itself.

I had to shut the system off though because I had to run out for a bit. So I'll try again but I'm hoping it's not nothing wrong with system

I'm in silver spring. They gave me $50 credit by the time I was done, but I'm not spending another dime at that website...sell me one of yours!

This really has dampened my mood towards the XBOne.. There is no way that I am going to leave this thing on while Im watching tv through my cable box.. I have the xbone in my living room and I would be getting phone calls left and right from my wife and daughter about the TV not working when im not home.. Cant believe that MS didnt think about this..

If you are installing off of disc and connected to internet, I heard today that we try to download all the updates first, then start the install, so it appears to be "stalled" at 1%. Maybe disconnect from internet, install game, then reconnect.

Don't feel bad, I'm not connecting my cable box to my XB-1 either for that same reason.

Don't worry fellas.

If your cable box has an HDMI port AND the component inputs you can use both as long as you have free inputs on your TV. I just tried it and can confirm that it works.

Rawdog & bigjoe - totally get the feedback and frustration.

The way the hardware is designed, it's physically impossible to enable passive passthrough. The Xbox has to be on to do processing. Some AVRs are like this as well.

The HW was designed 2-3 years ago, well before I started working on TV/OneGuide, and I'm not aware of the discussions that happened. However, I did bring this up to the hardware team a few months ago, so they aware of this in case they want to make any changes in the future.
