I don't have one, but a co-worker does and he says his 4 YO is constantly running into the room to boss around the XB1, lol.
He said it responds to him very well. Even in broken, little kid language.

Been enjoying reading this thread and all your impressions.
Same here. I'd have one in my living room as I'm typing this if this were the case.
I'm probably still going to wait till 2014 when more games start coming out.
Like you, it's been fun reading these impressions. It's pushed me towards the XB1 as my next-gen preference.

I told her yesterday I finally decided Xbox One over PS4 and she laughed saying "I knew weeks ago that's what you really wanted" lol.

Question on Xbox Live accounts. I'll be re-upping my gold at some point, but should I have my wife create an account too, but she'll get all the same access I do (like Netflix will be same login, same for Amazon prime, etc)...

She doesn't game a ton, but she might like Zoo Tycoon, I dunno.
Your wife should create a local "silver" account for herself, so she can login, pin different apps, etc.

As long as she plays on your primary Xbox that has your Gold account, she'll also get Gold privileges, including streaming services and (I think? someone confirm...) your game downloads.

That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure.

With the One she'll be on it a lot more, whereas with 360 it was pretty much only gaming so she didn't need the account.

She's gonna love yelling at the tv lol

That was the tipping point IMO. This will get more family use vs. a gaming only type box.

I do think it'll be nicer to have Netflix and others right there rather than having to switch the cable box off, turn something else on, wait for boot, etc.

I know that sounds stupid, but seems like less of a "barrier to entry"

Hey guys, I have a quick question as I do not know if any of you have experience this problem.

When I join a party with my friend I can talk through the mic and he can hear me through his mic just fine. However, when he talks to me his voice does not come through my mic, it comes through my TV.

Do any of you know what is causing this? I just want the incoming conversation to come through my mic and not my TV...

                    Thanks!!

My current plan is to buy KI and gamefly two more titles, hoping to start with DR3 or Ryse and Madden. I will probably buy BF4 as well, but I want to wait until the server problems are cleaned up.

Hooked up optical audio to my older but great sounding Sony surround system, sounds really good with games, tv, movies.
