A co-worker just got an Xbox One yesterday. I was leaning towards a PS4 for The Show and Uncharted, but man, his initial impressions of the Xbox really have me re-thinking that decision. Plus, it didn't help that he had the console delivered to the office; I told him he better take that home immediately or else I may walk off with it on my way out the door.

As a fellow Coloradan, get the XB1. I am planning on going PS4 in the future for The SHow and Uncharted, but the XB1 is just too impressive to not buy first.

My thoughts on console exclusives are that we can live without a few games.

I have a PS3 and still haven't gotten The Last of Us. Just haven't had time.

I don't play sports games as long anymore, so The Show I can live without. Uncharted is great, but I can handle not having that but having Titanfall and whatnot.

I could see how some PS4 exclusives are a system seller for people, but for me it's not enough to sway the balance.

I highly suggest talking to people in both console threads, not just the XBone, before making your decision. Especially people who actually own both consoles, not just ones who own one and are planning on getting the other eventually.

That's funny. It was my co-worker that swayed me back to Xbox One, after I was set on going PS4. Now that I've made my decision, I'm really happy about it and can't wait to crack that thing open on Christmas Day.

I could see how some PS4 exclusives are a system seller for people, but for me it's not enough to sway the balance.

For the most part totally agree...but as a baseball junkie once spring comes along I'm not sure I can live without. If any Baseball game was releasing for the XB1 then I'd live with that, even a crappy 2k iteration. Hopefully someone comes along soon and steps up the baseball presence on the XB. I wish 2k's NBA guys could help out their MLB guys.

lol Totally. But as someone who's brother had the PS4 first and played with it a lot the week leading up the the XB1 release, I can attest to the greatness of the XB1 and it's capabilities.

I'll save him some time having to stop by another thread to make the decision, because even in that thread the XB1 seems to top peoples lists.

Oh, and my brother sold his PS4 right after the XB1 launch to some sucker and got the XB1 instead. He should have listened to me from the beginning and went XB1 initially.

Oh, I totally get your point. My comments are just from my experiences.

If i was a baseball nut I'd have to get a PS4 sooner for sure.

Hopefully there's something in the future for MLB, maybe 2k will try for next gen dominance?

I really wish they would. If they were smart they'd invest in that, as I think they could dominate the XB as SCEA dominates the PS. I love 2k's presentation on their MLB games, more than SCEA, but their game play just needs more work unfortunately.

All good points. Mgoblue, I hear you about the limited gaming time. It's a big reason why I picked up a 3DS XL recently because I like that I can play for 30-45 minutes and make steady progress in a game.

MLB The Show is tough to pass up, though. I could certainly get by with NBA 2K, FIFA, Madden, NHL and UFC on the Xbox, but it'd be hard to not have a baseball game.

Is there a easy way to clean up my friends list? Something that'll show me the people who haven't been online in a while?

It's usually a pain through 360 or Xbox.com when I may have to clear out a bunch of people.

I haven't been online much for over a year, and a lot of friends went to PS4

2 Million isn't a lot for either system. It would be more if the stock was there, that's worldwide numbers for the XBone.

It's way more than 360 and PS3 sold off the bat...

I do agree that if there were more out there they'd sell more (for both PS4 and One).

You're not gonna get 29 million in a month for a 400 or 500 console vs a 60 buck game though....
