You only pay for one gold account. Family members added get all the gold account perks including their own friends list on live.

As far as couch coop and controller switching, that needs some work. Had my son and gf stop by and trying to get controllers working for each of them on guest accounts was a pain.

That's why i deleted him from xbone for now. Needs some tweaking, seems to be controller issue, do not switch and someone else play your game. Sucks.

My gf is getting me Ryse for Christmas and I'm buying a game but am torn between Forza and Dead Rising 3. I'm a hue Forza fan and, in fact, that was the main reason I wanted the system...however after reading the reviews I'm thinking maybe it may be better to get something else for now and get Forza later in February for my birthday, when maybe the dec may rethink the micro transactions and/or offer more tracks and cars by then...

So I did much thinking and decided Dead Rising 3 would possibly be a good 2nd game. If it had local co-op so my fiancé and I could play split screen it'd make my decision quite easy but it doesn't.

I've agonized over this for a week or so, I know reviews say DR3 is the better pick but my goodness, Forza was my main reason to want the Xbox one to start with...

I'd like to hear people's opinions to help me decide...

I have forza, nba2k14, FIFA 14, dead rising, and bf4. Forza has received the most play from me out of those games so far. I am a level 94 in forza and barely level 10 in both bf4 and dr3.

I do not like the fact that there is no feature to turn off the controller vibrate/rumble. So stupid. Hopefully they patch it so its optional. Also the interface is clunky and confusing as far as getting into parties and stuff like that. Also I noticed when playing M25 online there is no option to give feedback on ur opponent. Velveeta should be noted in game just like on the 360.


One other thing I am not a fan of.......You have to install ALL disc games to play them. Whose bright idea was that?(sarcasm)



Its a fun new toy but its also lacking in those noted areas. Everything else is fine.

Optical drives aren't fast enough to feed the rest of the hardware the data. They're like 27mb/s, as a result neither console plays games from the disc, they're just plastic DRM once a game is fully installed.

Yes you do.....I think before MS redesigned the always on internet though you didn't...

Heads up. Sam's club has BF4, AC4, and Fifa 14 on sale for $35 each. I saw that on Reddit this morning and snagged a copy of BF4.

It's obvious, but worth noting that day 1 digital downloads are great for this.

Most of my games are digital, but I am hoping they implement some system where I can cyber-trade the digital games for credits towards other digital games.

MS has hinted at this, but pulling it off would be awesome.
