Had the same problem, turned into a massive headache for me. For whatever reason Microsoft did send me a extra brick so at least I have a spare now

Game and app saves and updates. A game save progress bar will show you the status of your game saves. You will also be able to easily tell what games and apps are being updated or have been updated recently.

Friends improvements. Notifications will be added to see when favorites and friends sign in to Xbox Live. This was one of the most frequently requested features, so we made it a priority to include it in this update. Also, friends who are in multiplayer will be identified in the friends list.

Kinect voice and motion improvements will continue to be fine-tuned for quality and reliability of Xbox One commands. For example, we’ve updated some of the gesture functionality to reduce false positives on non-hand objects triggering gesture commands.

Improved GameDVR video quality through compression algorithm improvements.

Blu-ray player supports 50 Hz video output for content recorded at 50 Hz. We’ll also be updating the Blu-ray Player app in the coming days to round out these improvements.

Controller and headset adaptor firmware updates will reduce audio static and improve wireless connectivity.

Silent reboot after system updates and system update on demand now available. If your console is in Instant On mode, the update will happen automatically and return to standby upon completion. This means you won’t need to power on your console after an update moving forward. If you want to take future updates when available without waiting for your console to do it on its own, we’ve added this option under system settings and you’ll be able to use it next update. It will only show as available when there is an update to take.

Both Trials games were quite addictive on the 360.

I played the hell out of the last Trials game. Can't wait for the new one. It is crazy addictive.

I am thoroughly enjoying all the xbox one games I have, rotating them, some more than others. Just added a few to my collection that I had not played before: Titanfall, Forza 5, Rayman Legends All fun and enjoyable. So my collection with my overall rating for each game:

FIFA 14 - A+ - best sports game in my opinion, with right settings very fun. Currently playing Virtual Pro, controlling entire team, with Drunkenferrets settings.
Madden 25 - B+ - Solid, made it 3 years into my offline franchise so far, more than I have with any other madden recently.
NBA 2k14 - B - Solid fun game on court, other details of association slow down the fun experience.
AC - Black Flag - B - Very fun game, but some aspects get repetitive and boring, makes me lose some interest at times.
Battlefield 4 - B - Always loved the battlefield series, but technical issues on their end has ruined a lot of the experience for me and others, but when working right it is a blast.
TitanFall - A - Just have had for a few days, but is very fun, and you can tell it was made for xbone in mind, early impressions are impressive.
Forza - A - Just have had for a few days, but definitely made with Xbone in mind, and I really like the Drivatar system and racing against real peoples tendencies instead of AI.
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare - B+ - picked this up for 9 year old, is really fun game, but cannot give it a higher score, because no split screen multiplayer online, just a offline Coop, which is fun but not as fun as it would be with multi-player split screen(like COD, etc.)
Rayman Legends - A+ - WOW, surprise unexpected pick, just picked up for 9 year old as well, beautiful plat-former, fun coop, recommended pick up. extensive as well.

So if someone asked me what are must haves for Xbone, they would be:
FIFA 14
Titanfall
Forza 5
Rayman Legends

A little bit of everything in these 4 games, all excellent!!

Just my IMO, but overall having a great time with my next Gen experience.

I find PvZ much better than Titanfall. I'm big into replay value though. Just no unlocks or customization in Titanfall. I have much more hope for Titanfall 2.

Is there a way to tell if your xbox received the update? I don't think I got the update yet. I normally look for new features that are included in the update. In this case I looked for the option to set your xbox to download and install the latest update automatically when available. I checked my settings under system and only see an option to update controller but not to set my xbox to download and install the update automatically.

I have my Xbox set to instant on and set to download updates. I received the march update fine this way. Wish there was a way to check for updates like for the ps4 manually.

Go to settings and preferences. See if there is an option there to have notifications on for all friends or just favorites. If it is there you are updated.

Minimal unlocks is what makes Titanfall appealing. I am bored of call of duty and batylefield before i get anything useful or fun to use. You have to spend every waking minute on the game just so you can have a scope on a gun and compete with the people who have no jobs or family and play non stop. The fact that stuff unlocks easy in titanfall is a much wrlcome change that the fps multiplayer market should follow.
