Re: Xbox One
I'm actually thinking the opposite.
Notice the games listed are all about to reach 1 year in age. Basically these are (or about to be) bargain bin games.
....but new games you have to pay for (albeit 10% off).
Unless you play like 8 EA games a year, I don't see the value in this at all.
So because the games are not brand new it's not worth it? Makes no sense. Bf4 and FIFA 14 are about to be worth about 20 bucks. How much is this a year? Plus they will be adding more games. Sounds like good value to me.Comment

Re: Xbox One
My EA access code didn't work since I believe it had more characters in it than normal xbox redeem codes.
I got the mail saying I have the code and it even entered it for me instantly, it just wouldn't work/process.
I didn't even really know what it was until reading this or how I got a code. Maybe because of UFC?
Yeah the redeem code button put a space at the beginning. If you take the space out and add the last character it will work.Comment

Re: Xbox One
With PSPlus, and now XBox Live Gold hopping on the train, there isn't any reason to give EA money to play old games.
The early access isn't you get the games 5 days early. You get to play the game for a few hours, up to 5 days early. Your save will carry over.
The only thing that sounds nice is the 10% off, if you buy a bunch of EA extras. Then it's a good deal. Otherwise it's just giving hard-earned money to a company that doesn't deserve it.badComment

You get to play old games. If you enjoy playing years old sports titles and other games, go for it.

You can bet that the 2 hour limit is for single player games or modes in those games. Sports games will be full access with the exception of MUT for 5 days early. That alone is worth the 30 dollarsComment

Xbox One
Like I said earlier I'm only buying NHL on launch day going forward. I'm totally fine playing the others a year down the road. Great value for me. I'm going to sign up as soon as I can and see what happens with the vault. It's a few bucks a month. Nothing expensive at all.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Did EA tell you this by phone? Because if you think that all their future releases are going to be 2 hour time limit you are not understanding this

Play First: EA Access members will get to experience trials of new EA games early on Xbox One. Starting 5 days before release, you’ll be able to try the game for at least two hours and then save your progress. Once you purchase the digital or physical copy, you can use your save game and continue the experience.
@geoffkeighley @ExtremeGamer @Andrew_Reiner You'll never have less than 2 hours, but each trial is different & will often be longer.badComment
