It is crazy quick. I've really just been using it to get a path to the next event.

Xbox One will have Windows 10 sometime in 2015

"Microsoft Corp. could finally unleash Windows apps on the Xbox One. The company is bringing the core of Windows 10 to the Xbox One, allowing developers to bring apps and games from Windows Phone and PCs to Microsoft's latest console."
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

        Clarification purposes.

        (A) With a 3.0 external harddrive greater than 256gb (i.e. 500gb, 2TB, 3TB, 4TB, etc), I will be able to store full fledged digital downloaded blockbuster NBA2k15, WWE2k15, PES2015, Forza games (for the sake of mathematics, 50gb each). I will also be able to transfer these 50gb digitally downloaded games to a second external harddrive for backup purposes to conserve future bandwidth.

        (B) 3.0 Harddrives are more versatile than 2.0 harddrives because 3.0 external harddrives allows one to store full fledged retail games (NBA2k15, PES2015, Forza, Ryse, etc.) while 2.0 does not??? 2.0 only allows movie and music files for playback on the XB1???
        A) Sounds like you can have up to two external drives plugged in at the same time. I haven't done it, but it seems plausible that you could have the game stored in 3 locations (internal HDD and two external HDDs).

        B) The USB 3.0 requirement for storage/installing games is because of the speed of the drive versus a USB 2.0 drive. The 2.0 connection is not fast enough to play installed games if you use the external drive as your primary drive. You can use any external USB HDD (personally haven't tried a USB flash drive) to play media from.

It depends on what area you're talking about. I wish I could organize my games more on both systems. I like how you can pin your favorite games though.

The Xbox one store (on the system and Xbox.com) needs some work. It's a mess.

I have both systems and I think the Xbox UI looks "next gen" and light years ahead of Sony's.

The Xbox1 app is very very good as well.

I prefer the UI of the 360. Not a fan of the tiles. A lot of people don't like Windows 8 for the same reason. Seems more steps I have to do to navigate around like to do something simple.. just sending a message for instance. I find it clunky. PS4 might be simpler but simpler sometimes is better.

I think both of them are pretty terrible, if we're being honest here.

MS insists on using terrible 1990-era AOL design over all their products while Sony is plain, un-customizable and flat out broken (I'm looking at you, friends list and notification/message timestamps.)

Once I pinned the things I use regularly I stopped having to hop around as much, but I get that with the One. I really disliked the PS3 one, haven't experienced PS4 at all.

Owning both and hearing from most the ps4 ui is better I have to disagree. I like the one and like the above poster says, after pinning stuff it's way easier.
