I personally thing it's a joke because there's zero need for it on a video game console (which is what I use my XBox for.) I don't need a media player, I've got my HTPC that works light years better than any console ever will for said use. I don't need a living room Skype machine, I've got a computer. I don't need any TV features. I've used it at their places when I was home, hated it and then laughed at it.

Again, just different strokes. It is absolutely a joke to me. That doesn't mean the product is a joke, it just means it will never have a place in my home.

The same way that Oculus Rift is absolutely a joke to me, but there are people that are hyped up. Don't let people that don't like something you ruin your enjoyment of it. Again, two different viewpoints on a superfluous piece of equipment.

It's also the 720p box to you as well. The majority of your post towards the Xbox are negative and repetitive. To you it maybe a joke, but many others find it very useful. And yes you can use it for gaming. In both madden and nba2k I use my voice to call plays and it's fun. I also use it in forza horizon 2 with the GPS feature. It's also faster and more convenient to use when you do a highlight on a friend and just say "Xbox record that" twitch app with the camera is miles better on the one because it has a better camera and layout. Some people don't want to skype on a small computer monitor and enjoy it on a huge screen. On the multimedia side it's great. I can talk in parties without a mic, command my console to lower or raise the receivers volume and starting a party is faster with a kinect and requires not going through menus to get there like a controller. Snapping a specific app is faster with the kinect. The kinect logs me or my wife in with all the lights off without saying a word. There's also kinect fitness app which many people enjoy. The list goes on and it's more beneficial to have it and makes the experience a lot better. If you don't like it and it's not for you that's fine, but you been calling it a gimmick and joke since the console was announced.

GPS voice feature is great in Nfs rivals too. I'm sure it's even more polished in forza.

I'm looking for a 4 or 5 TB HDD that doesn't have to be plugged up...any ideas? Also is there any difference between ones you plug up and ones you don't other than having to plug it up?

Man you guys make it seem like uber said something bad about one of your family members. He doesn't like it, I have friends who feel the same way he does. Why does it matter? If he was in here trying to persuade people to hate it then I would understand.

Not liking it is fine. Disregarding all of its usefulness when someone asks about it is silly.

And I didn't realize he made the 720 comment earlier so obviously he goes out of his way to hate on the one for some reason.

But he's disregarding it's usefulness for himself and himself only not every single Xbox One owner. That's why I just don't understand why it even matters.

Being able to say "Xbox record that" is pretty dang cool.

I'm a big fan of the Kinect. It seems "next gen" to me.

Can't agree more. I love the Kinect and telling it when to record something awesome that I've just done.

Yeah man. Maybe it's me not being used to the PS4's version but Upload Studio is so much better, especially after the update to allow for multiple deletions.

Someone has to balance out the amount of caping going on in this thread.

I own all 3 systems, I don't have a dog in the race. If people can't take a joke about a highly publicized issue, then they're taking things a bit too seriously.

I love the XBOne. I hate the wonky interface, but outside of that - again, which is a personal thing - and the lack of a few apps that are elsewhere there's absolutely nothing wrong with the system.

If you think I go out of my way to hate a system I own and enjoy playing I dunno what to tell ya.

I think the 720 joke is a tad played out at this point. Not to mention it makes no sense. This console has come a long way. People are happy with that. No one has to balance that out.

I'm also a fan of the interface at this point. The inclusion of the friends tab has made a huge difference.

I didn't say balance out happiness, I said balancing out the caping going on.

I think the UI has a fantastic base... it just feels a tad... clunky, for lack of a better word, still (closing stuff sometimes opens the app, a bit laggy, etc.) If it had the polish that sony's UI had (extremely snappy, more responsive) it would hands down be the best we've seen on a console. It's just not quite there yet.

'Xbox record that' is the one feature I now can't live without. I had an awesome kill last night on call of duty on the ps4 and wondered why it didn't record.

It's definitely slow sometimes. That's a complaint I have too.

Coming from a person who didn't like the PS3 UI, I don't like the PS4's either. No imagination whatsoever. I'm definitely not a fan.
