No issues from me either. Watched a show early this morning. Maybe try deleting the app and reinstalling it?

Sling TV coming to Xbox One

Today, we’re pleased to share the news of a relationship with the newly announced Sling TV, which is backed by DISH. Sling TV is an over-the-top, television service that will deliver live sports, lifestyle, family, news and information channels, Video-On-Demand (VOD) entertainment, and the best of Internet video for $20 per month. And Xbox One will be the exclusive gaming console when it launches in the coming weeks.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

It's more likely the YES Network would become an app and their own service at some point.

Interested in SlingTV, we're prospective cord cutters but need to solve the Sunday Ticket problem first. Second would be our time-shifted habits, and if they could be supported by alternatives without costing more between any kind of standalone Sunday Ticket, a sub to the standalone HBO and any other costs.

            Double post, but unrelated.

Anyone have a dark TV picture when they initially turn the Xbox One on? I'm part of the dash preview, so maybe I'm just on a bad build. It looks almost like the backlight on my TV isn't on. The AV overlays from my denon aren't dimmed so it's definitely the Xbox One. Turning the TV and the DVR off individually do nothing, but turning the Xbox One off and then on fixes it reliably.

It's really the only reason we still have cable. I think it's releasing with Playstation Vue, but they haven't released any info on that in a while.

I wonder why they announced that before CES, wonder if that means they have more or nothing at all to show on the floor. Would have thought there would have been tweets from their booth of demos but don't see anything. Hoping to go later in the week.

Looks like keynote tonight? So we'll see.

Playstation Vue or Sling TV? Is CES going on right now?

CES started today, and was referring to Playstation Vue information. Interesting they announced it a couple weeks before CES instead of doing it at their keynote. Means they wanted to get ahead of something, whether that's letting it marinate for more announcements or so they can focus on other things at CES.

Certainly will get a token mention you'd have to think. Wonder if the $20 SlingTV price (+$5 'genre' packages) gives them any issues.

I wonder if Vue is why SlingTV is Xbox One-only, and not on Sony TVs, in an EA Access-style decision.

I'm still more interested in Vue due to PStv being able to act as a set top box for the streaming, I don't want to have to purchase 6 Xbox Ones to save on my bill every month. I'm down to buy 4 PS tvs though.

Sorry for going off topic, but could we hear more about Vue during CES?

The Vue service thus far hasn't been announced for the Vita ecosystem by the way, just Playstation 3 and 4.
