2k/wwe pack doesn't seem like much of a deal at $40ea w/ some dlc.

Re: Xbox One
I thought the same thing. When I saw the deal I contemplated buying it, but its two games that I likely won't play a whole lot. Not a huge basketball fan, I don't pay attention to WWE, but I do enjoy the games, I find wrestling games can be fun to play.
For two games that have been out a while now, I thought the price tag was a bit high, especially for me to have to go digital with them and not be able to trade them in when I inevitably grow tired of them because they're not must play titles for me.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

Re: Xbox One
Any thoughts on Resident Evil Revelations 2 or the Resident Evil HD remake?
I have 10 bucks in BB rewards expiring at the end of the month and was thinking of just buying credit for one of these. I enjoyed Revelations on 3DS, but also liked original RENintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Xbox One
How many times can Capcom keep releasing the same games with minor improvements? Nothing more than a cash grab in my opinion. Also, the fixed camera and horrible controls are obsolete. Yeah, they were great back then, almost 20 years ago but not now. Capcom should have redone RE in the style of RE 4 and even if I can't move and shoot at the same time, I would have been more interested in the game than I am now which is not at all.
As for Revelations, I enjoyed the first one but quit halfway through on 3DS as I was just tired of playing on a portable console. Good game and was looking forward to the sequel until they announced it as an episodic game and digital only (as far as I know). Capcom has no clue anymore and like so many great companies from the 80's and 90's, they're simply done. RE 4 HD is the ONLY Capcom game that I purchased in the ENTIRE Xbox 360 and PS3 era. Capcom is simply not what they used to be and quite honestly, im getting sick and tired of all this remake garbage regardless of the developer and publisher that's doing it.
PS4 and Xbox One exist and yet, we keep getting re-mastered, definitive editions, collections, etc. of old games that the majority of fans have already played years ago or decades ago.
I really wish that instead of wasting time and money on this, that they concentrate on new IP's or at the very least, new sequels to their respective franchises. Capcom has so many great IP's and they all rot away except for RE and Street Fighter.
Sorry for being negative and not trying to sway you either way. If you're interested in playing either or both, then I say go for it as I never let anyone's opinion sway me from buying, playing or trying a game that I want to buy, play or try. This is just my own personal opinion and that's it.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I hear you on the later versions....I enjoyed how Revelations was more like the first. I think I'll wait to read some reviews of the remake and go from there....
I haven't enjoyed the action game aspect, but like the survival horror roots.
Just don't want to let this credit go to waste (I've since upped my coupon autogenerate to 20 bucks so I don't get this issue)Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

As for Best Buy's reward certs, I have mine setup to $100 (5000 points) but you can always increase the auto generate amount like you did or use it to purchase a Best Buy gift card which has no expiration date and can be used in store or online.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Yeah, I create my BB certs on demand, usually on my phone right before a purchase. Previously, lost $85 worth of them and they refunded them for me once I set it to not auto-create them. They just sent me a $5 for my birthday so I guess I'll have to pick something up soon thoughComment

On a side note -
Microsoft is dropping the price of the Xbox One console to $350 starting tomorrow in the U.S. in yet another promotion. Personally, I still don't see the point in increasing it back to $400 to begin with. Granted, this promotion is supposed to be for the core console but im guessing that retailers will do the same with the digital bundles as they won't want to still have them months from now.

Re: Xbox One
Man I can never just sit down and my Xbox one just work right
1st. My controller will not turn on the system half the time forcing me to get up after I have sat down... Not a big deal but annoying
2. Sometimes the Xbox will not display anything even though I can hear the background when I'm using the remote. I know it's not my tv because I have two tvs and I have used both. I even tried a different HD cord so it's not that either
3. I put a "game" disc in and about 30% the Xbox will act like I never inserted anything again forcing me to eject and try again several times. But funny thing is it only does it to games because we watch blue ray movies on it all the time but I have never had single problem like that with them
I'm not sure if this stuff happens because I'm in the preview program or what but they are annoying....Comment

Re: Xbox One
1. The controller issue is weird. I never have that issue, although I turn it on with my voice 50% of the time, my Harmony remote 40% of the time, and a controller the other 10%. Voice can be an issue, although it has gotten progressively better, and it works pretty much every time for me now.
2. The no picture is an issue with the HDMI handshaking between the TV, Console, and AVR, if you have one. In my set-up, the AVR has to come on last, so occasionally I have to turn it off and on with my remote if I get no picture. What I would really, really like is for Microsoft to provide a setting that in the power settings that will allow you to set a pause for certain devices in order to help facilitate the HDMI handshaking.
3. This might be a bad one. I had that issue off and on, but we had really stopped using discs at all. This Christmas my wife, daughter, and I all got games, and we had issues for one night on Christmas Eve. On Christmas, it just stopped loading any thing. We had to send it in, and it now it works perfectly. The turn around was two weeks, but my Day One console was still under warranty.Comment

Not gonna pass up this deal. I promised some people I'd get an Xbox One again when the price went down, and I'm a man of my word. Picking up the Assassins Creed Bundle tomorrow.Last edited by CaliDude916; 01-16-2015, 03:22 AM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
If you are having the disc read problems, when you put the disc in, don't let it go in when it immediately tries to take it. Instead, wait until it tries to pull it a little bit harder. Since I've found that out, it hasn't failed to read a disc for me.Comment
