If you are having the disc read problems, when you put the disc in, don't let it go in when it immediately tries to take it. Instead, wait until it tries to pull it a little bit harder. Since I've found that out, it hasn't failed to read a disc for me.

Yup. Put your finger in the circle of the disc and just don't let it take the disc in right away. .

I was playing Madden today in CFM, and in the 4th quarter with 10 minutes remaining, all of a sudden there is a buzzing noise and was quickly transported to the main menu of the xbone.

I was able to resume the game, but now it was raining and the interruption lost the camera angle.

Has that happened to anyone else?

Yes. The other day I was playing madden in play now mode and a weird buzzing noise happened and I get sent right to the dashboard. I reloaded the game and was able to continue where I was without any issues but it sure was a strange noise and crash.

Yeah, I'll say that's probably a Madden issue and not an Xbox issue.

The same thing happened to me last night while I was playing a CFM on the PS4.

I wonder why this is....since reading that using this advice has fixed my disc read issues. Annoying, but at least i know what to do now....always figured going lighter on pushing the disc would be better, but no.

Someone should feed this fix to customer support. It might save some folks from having to send in their consoles for repair, like I did over Christmas break. We hardly use discs as it is, but when a few new games came on disc over Christmas, they wouldn't load.

If all it took was holding them for a second longer, I may not have sent it in. I guess it is good that I have a drive that works now.

Xbox has really disappointed me since the launch of the XB1.


PS4 has: The Last of Us, The Show, DC Universe Online, Infamous: Second Son, Resogun, Street Fighter V, and intriguing games like H1Z1, Uncharted 4, and The Order 1886 due out.


The xbox has what as its main exclusives out right now..... Titanfall? Dead Rising 3, Halo, Sunset Overdrive, Killer Instinct... these are not great games and IMO none compete with the PS4 exclusives; the only xbox game I haven't played is Sunset Overdrive.


Xbox has really taken a step back IMO....

To each their own, I'd be happier with the PS4 lineup if the games people cited weren't a bunch of FTP PC MMOs, indies, and a rehash with a couple genuine exclusives thrown in. The same can be said about the Xbox One though too.

Mostly interested in third party titles, as the first party ones aren't impressive to me all that much (Infamous, Sunset Overdrive) so I've leaned toward buying them for the console that's always on and most all things are just a voice command away.

You forgot Ryse, Forza 5, Forza Horizon 2...

As far as games coming out, Quantum Break, Oni, Halo 5, The new Tomb Raider, should be really good games. I guess to each his own.

Titanfall was a good game when it came out, just wasn't deep enough. If Titanfall would have launched like the game that's currently out, it would have had more legs.

I didn't forget those titles, to me they're not that special. Of the xbox one exclusives coming out Halo 5 may be the most popular but I am not a big Halo fan; I prefer the GoW series.

Titanfall was a good game when it came out, just wasn't deep enough. If Titanfall would have launched like the game that's currently out, it would have had more legs.

I like Titanfall and at its core it is a fun game, but I mainly play it to grind out the achievements. Its a game I could easily forget about, but right now it offers a ton of achievements to unlock which is one of my favorite things about the xbox.

I basically wanted to see if anyone shared the same opinion as me. I don't understand the defensive stance you or whaddupCouzin took.


My initial post was all my opinion, and if I omitted something it was done because I didn't have interest in those exclusives.


Before posting I compared Wikipedia lists of each console's exclusives. I plucked from that list the ones which interested me the most.
