Re: Xbox One
I have a question.
Our son in college and I have the xbone and he is an hour away. When I just had the 360, we we both able to log onto xbox live with the same profile.
Now, we are being kicked off with the xbone. So, are we able to still be on xbox live under the same profile if I add a family member and will that member need a new profile?
Thanks.Comment

I would make your console at home your "home" console and make a secondary account on your "home" console so that you can share your Gold membership (if you have one) and any digital games you may have purchased when he signs on with your primary account at college. You can use the secondary account at home because all of the Gold benefits are shared amongst users on the "home" console.

Re: Xbox One
Reviews have been mostly positive, including the new controls. Makes things less frustrating without making them straight up easier. I only had 20-30mins to play so I went with the new controls and didn't try switching back, I doubt I will. Never played the Gamecube remaster, so it's been a looooong time since I played this game, enjoying it all over again.Comment

Re: Xbox One
So yeah, some really good stuff in this presser.
- Streaming to all Windows 10 PCs and tablets of Xbox One games.
- Cross-platform play with Windows 10 and Xbox One for Fable Legends
- Xbox One app provides all the social and sharing experiences we have on Xbox One it seems.
That last one is a point that's hard to appreciate... but it's everything.. Game DVR, sharing, etc. Activity feed, achievements... all that stuff. Basically just demolished services like Raptr IMO. The disconnect between console and PC is why I've never really gotten into that kind of thing previously.
More features coming... there was a suggestion that 'universal apps' will work on Xbox, which is pretty huge. Lowering the barrier of getting software on your console is not insignificant.Comment

The app stuff is good, because if it can use Windows 10 apps, there's more of a install base there, so you'll be more likely to get cool apps.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Pretty cool stuff! I'd be upgrading my desktop from 7 to 10 for free, so would see how that streaming would be for that....wonder if it can stream the TV stuff too? hmmm

This was primarily a Windows event and only showed how Xbox integrated with Windows. Any announcements specific to Xbox One will come at some other time. This isn't a comment on Cortana, just on Xbox features in general.?The Bulgarian Brothers - a story of two brothers (Oggy and Dinko) as they coach in the NCAA and the NBA.

Lots of good stuff introduced today, but most interested in the streaming to other devices. After being disappointed with Remote Play on the PS4, hopefully MS can deliver a much smoother experience. Definitely looking forward to even more announcements.XBL & PSN: zasbury25Comment

Re: Xbox One
MS recap of the gaming stuff.
This morning at the Windows 10 media briefing, Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox at Microsoft, shared the company’s vision for gaming on Windows 10 and Xbox One. With Xbox on Windows 10, we’re bringing some of the most exciting features from Xbox Live and some of the most popular Xbox experiences into Windows 10 itself. The built-in Xbox app is the place where your world of gaming comes together. It’s a unified view of the games you care about, your friends, and your gaming activities. And with Xbox Live, more than 50 million members will now connect across screens in new ways.Comment
