Hold the power button down for like 10 seconds or so. Until it shuts down then start it back up.

Anyone know where I'd change my name for the Kinect voice login? Right now I have to say my full name (first and last) but my wife just uses her first. I know it's somewhere on MS websites online, just don't remember where...Rather just have my first name, that'd be easier.

account.live.com. "edit your details" under personal info. Edit display name. You likely have both names in the first name field from an auto concatenation at some point.

I had the issue where it didnt have a display name and i had to actually say my gamertag before:

Well, SOE Games gonna most likely all gonna be multiplatform now (H1Z1, EQNext, maybe Planetside 2/DCUO).

SOE got bought out/sold off/whatever. They are now Daybreak Games and a multiplatform company.

Good news for those interested in their games but owning an XBOne and not a PS4.

When I go there it's just my first name in that box, and the last name in its box. I re-saved it again, maybe that'll fix it...i'll see when I'm home. Otherwise that's really weird.

Annnd Xbox Live is down.....again....have an update but can't do anything cause of Live being down. Had this problem yesterday, this is getting on my nerves.

After a hard reset it's working now...is this possibly a problem with my Xbox or was Live actually having problems?

i had to do a hard reset also this morning as live was acting up for me also.
