I wonder how huge of effect it would have one X1 if Fallout 4 was a exclusive?

I know it's a huge huge rumor and the game it's self has not even been confirmed as far as I know... And it's highly unlikely to be a exclusive

I don't think there's any way Fallout 4 is in any way a console exclusive but I do think the marketing rights and early/exclusive DLC and content is up for grabs....that in itself would be a huge grab.

If MS could get F4 on its stage with that in tow, yeah it'd be big time.

The vitriol Microsoft would receive for locking down Fallout 4 would be amazing. It would make the Rise of the Tomb Raider situation look like nothing at all.

I know this is crazy talk too but I wonder if MS is in any way formulating a plan to get the Occulus Rift onto the X1 as a Morpheus counterpart.

The Hololens is way off and even then it's AR....I just can't see MS being left in the wake of everyone else going after VR.

That's my crazy way out there "I wonder if it'll happen" E3 watch list item....

Oculus will probably work with both systems, truth be told. Not that it matters at all since it will sell very little and have nothing of note to play on it.

Not expecting Fallout 4 to be console exclusive. Cross-buy and cross-play with PC could be a thing though as part of a windows 10 promotion.

So as of right now the games for Xbone I am looking at are Halo 5, Tomb Raider, Crackdown 3 destruction engine and very interested in Quantum Break.

Come on E3 and show me some goodies.

As for Fallout 4 theres no way it be console exclusive. PC fans would burn Bethesda to the ground. If there was any exclusive it be one console system with PC included.

I'm hoping at some point they can do something to change "home console" to "home lan". Makes total sense with the home xbox - anyone can use your gold benefits and installed digital games on it. However for houses with multiple Xboxes like mine, would be nice if someone could play a digital game I have on the second xbox without me needing to sign my profile in on it. If it could say - hey this is on the same lan as your home xbox it is fine for this other person to play the game on this xbox...that would be very nice, even if they couldn't share your gold account. Rather than saying - well I guess you have to play in the family room and I will have to play in the basement/4 seasons room.

That would be awesome...hasn't been an issue for me, but I do have 2 xbox ones and that may be a problem in the future as the little one starts gaming.

Maybe something where the other Xboxes are able to see if the parent's on the same system?

Surprisingly never was an issue for me until this past weekend. GF always plays on my home xbox in the family room, I play on the other one usually in the basement when playing destiny/halo/borderlands. With the nice weather I moved it out to the 4 seasons room since we have been spending the majority of our tv/couch time out there.


I had been thinking about getting her into racing games (other than Mario kart), she fell in love with horizon 2. I wake up Saturday morning to find her out in the 4 seasons room trying to play but couldn't get it to work. Yep sorry, not my home xbox, cant play my digital games. I signed my profile in so she could play, but an hour later she was still going and I couldn't play something on the other one because it would have signed me out and ended her game.


Got me to thinking...well if they are on the same LAN, and say if my profile is on both, seems like it should be doable right? I mean I can see some ways people could cheat the system and buy a single game for multiple households (like apartments where they can share a same wireless network.) But would be nice if something like that could be done.
