So it appears the most economical way of purchasing a console is via bundle these days? Thing that sucks is (I'm helping a friend) he has no interest in any of the bundled games and really only want Halo 5 at present, while also spending as little as possible. The Guardians bundle doesn't really save you money...

Re: Xbox One
True. Assuming I'd actually known about that deal....which is why I asked here. Thanks for your help? I think.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Not seeing the target deal, I guess it's over.
I guess the Guardian bundle isn't that bad since it's 1TB. In reality I'm trying to find him the cheapest route to a console and Halo, nine of the extra stuffComment

Re: Xbox One
I would say the Halo master chief bundle would be the way to go, like you stated they have them on Amazon, might be able to get a deal on eBay as well, just make sure the MCC voucher isn't redeemed yet as its digital only. But might just find a used console and used physical copy of the game being bundled together on there

Re: Xbox One
I've got a question: Is there a way to turn the vibration in the controller off permanently so I don't have to do it every time I play a new game?
I can't find anything in the settings. Also if not how do you turn it off in NHL 15?
Oh and is there a way to remove the snap feature from my console?
ThanksLast edited by JMD; 10-12-2015, 07:38 AM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I just had what I think is a great idea. I've become lazy in my old age and this generation of downloaded games is really adding to my couch sitting. Leads me to my idea for those disc based games.
Since we install and run them off the hdd or external anyway. It would be awesome if Microsoft added a random disc check. So I can play (specifically Madden, Destiny, Sunset Overdrive) without the disc like my digital downloaded games and not require the disc.
That is where the random check comes in. Could be days, weeks, months, # of plays, but a prompt would ask to insert disc for license. Once you prove you have the disc, you go back into that time period where the disc isn't required. Just a though to keep my butt on the couch. Choosing games without getting up has spoiled me.
I don't game on PC so I don't know if that is already something companies do.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Yea they pushed for this with the always online feature when this gem of consoles was first introduced and people went crazy, mainly because at the time we were in the height of the Snowden NSA revelations, but also people forget that this country still has a ****ty Internet infrastructure in a lot of places and requiring always online to play would cut out a lot of those people.

Re: Xbox One
I know it's wishful thinking but would love for the X1 to get NCAA added to BC list.
I'd probably buy the system the day that's announced and finally retire the 360.Joshua:

Re: Xbox One
I think terrible internet is along these lines (and digital games), a lot of people still have slow internet or data caps. I think if instead of the online checks every 24 hours like they wanted, why couldn't they go with product keys? Each disk had a key. You need to activate it on your profile to play the game (similar to a digital purchase), you could deactivate at any time to sell the disk. That way people wouldn't need the fast internet for big downloads or a 24 hour connection, just a connection when activating or deactivating a game.Comment
