More Xbox to Windows rumors

Forza Motorsport 6 and Gears of War 4 also rumored to be coming to Windows 10 (Forza Horizon 3 also mentioned)

I'd be all for this. If it's exclusive to the Windows store, you'd think they might be able to handle cross platform drivatars since they are tied to the same login system - Microsoft accounts.

Honestly, if you going to be playing a lot of video games you really should just get yourself a nice gaming monitor...can't beat it.

I have a 24 inch Asus that I got on Amazon for around $180 a few months ago, comparable to the 24 inch BenQ version. I can never go back now.

Gaming monitors are great for performance at the risk of pq

If you can get an HDTV with low lag numbers there is no experience like a big screen tv for the immersion and the response time is incredible with no ghosting

the new 4K samsung model JS7500 has 16 ms input lag which is beyond amazing and right there with asus and ben q monitors at the huge screen level with no ghosting and fast response time

I hate that XBOX is putting their games on PC. Really bad move in my opinion for xbox quality of games going forward. I know many pc owners are delighted and they should be but for xbox fans that are just xbox fans is the start of them being the xbox 360 to the pc xbox one

Within a year or two you will start to hear PC fans claiming that xbox one is holding back MS games with the weak console yada yada yada

What is next, A game for both that has less features on xbox one? while xbox pays for xbox live?

As a mostly MP gamer, and someone that shares equipment with my PC, that's a risk I'm willing to accept. If I was trying to get the most out of my Tomb Raider experience, then sure, I could see it, but that's not how I spend the majority of my time.

Also, sometimes it's just too much screen to look at. I'm happy with the performance and perspective that a 27" monitor gives me.

What do you mean by blue, and red is already true. Consolitis is prevalent in many new releases. At the very least we enjoy higher resolution, frame rates (assuming FPS locks can be overcome, and they usually are if present) and at the best enjoy a litnay of improvements.

More platforms for more games. Especially if there's cross-buy/cross-save. Win/win IMO.

Now get some big 3rd parties on board and partner with Steam (brand the MS store/Steam client, etc) and whatnot too while you're at it MS, thanks!

I'd be happy to even double dip on some of my favorite titles.

I really don't understand how this hurts your games on XB1. The games will still play and look how they always have, just now more people can play them. Win, win IMO.

Yea I'm not seeing how anyone loses out on this one. And I don't give a damn about people complaining that a system is holding a game. That's like saying the sky is blue. And I doubt that companies will take out features on one system. If anything it will be like the season pass where maybe one system gets it earlier than the other.

I disagree, but I think the base thought is this: Say Sony started selling Uncharted on PC....in theory people have less of a reason to buy a PS4, so the system won't sell as much. Why would people buy a console if they can get all the games on PC as well...

Like I said, I disagree, but that's the mindset I believe....take away all console exclusives and what's the point (besides a high quality PC substitute)....

The bolded is already true, and it's not a Microsoft thing. Both consoles have been holding back PC games since they've been released.

When the 360 was released, it was actually above what PCs are the time were. The PS3 (on release) was slightly behind the PC at the time (even though it was close to 360 power) because it came out a year later.

Both the PS4 and the slightly less powerful XBOne were nothing more than mid-range PCs at best when they were released, and that gap will just keep growing larger as time goes on.

If you're an "XBox Fan that is just an XBox Fan" you should probably find something healthier to be a fan of. Identifying with a game console is pretty dumb. Games are games, no matter where they are played.

Put it this way. If you're an XBox fanboy, you should be happy with this news. More console exclusives (being XBOne and PC released at the same time) equals more sales, equals more XBOne/PC exclusives being made.

Because buying a console much cheaper than buying a decent PC rig.

This is also untrue. If you're looking to buy something that will run everything on Ultra, of course, but saying "cost is just way too much for building a cheap budget gaming PC" is wrong.

No my point is this. Just like people complain today that COD continuing to release games on ps3 and 360 hurts the development of the ps4 and xb1 for that same game.

Now you see the downgrade in the ps3 and xbox 360 version not even having a campaign

So lets say Halo 6 comes out and windows 10 is now a huge thing and the game is priced the same but with xbox paying for live and pc gets halo 6 with more features or more maps and the xb1 version gets the cod treatment on ps3 and 360 like this new BO3 version

Would you as an xbox one only owner be happy knowing that the resources were giving to pc when before the xbox development for the game was based on your console and you got max results

That will never happen for multiple reasons, so you don't have to worry about that.

I bet there is a small amount of gamers who actually have a good PC and an xbox. Also, it costs way more to have a good gaming PC.
