That's the intent of the PS4K new system, to be able to actually PLAY 4k games..Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Xbox One
Considering it's a digital rights license and not an actual disc, they can sell it as NEW for full price. So why aren't they giving us say, 80% for trade-ins when they can still make the full 100%?Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Xbox One
Sure, it's better than nothing. I get that, but lets be honest, in comparison to the cost of the game new, it's nothing essentially. Especially given the fact that digital games, are still priced the same (if not more), than physical copies, that you can trade it for significantly more value at EB/Gamestop.
Be curious to see the results of that survey, but they really need layers to the questions in that survey. Of course people are going to say yes, they're interested, but I'm sure most would want more than 10%. They really should have asked two questions: 1. Would you be interested in a trade in system? 2. What value would you anticipate in return? 0-10%, 10-25, etc, etc. The reason I say that, is because, yes, I'd be interested in the program, but for a measly 10%... no thanks.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

I'd be more interested in if they did a Steam/Origin style refund program. I've definitely tried more game on Steam (especially in sales) knowing that if I'm not a fan of it I can just return it.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: Xbox One
I'm pretty sure MS doesn't see 80% of a purchase either, at best I don't see us getting more than 20-30% ever outside of this mechanism opening up things like a 24hr full/partial refund, or promotional 'trade up' for sports titles or something.Comment

Re: Xbox One
CEO of Netflix stated last year that PS4 and XBOX one will release updated consoles that will allow streaming of 4K but is not going to play games in 4K
Sony cannot sell a 4K ps4 for gaming at 350 or 400 or even 500
That console will cost a lot of money and consoles are meant for casuals not pc specs fans
Sony and MS will not have 4K gaming for at least 5-7 years from today if not more as I think is more closer to 10Comment

Re: Xbox One
ok guys I used the ps4 hard drive stock as my extra hard drive for my 500gb xbox will I get a new drive and games are a stuttering mess? Any ideas as to why?
I thought maybe it was the drive and went and bought the WD My Book 3 tb and put all games in that and same issue. Games are stuttering like crazy.
I heard that using external drives requires you to not have instant on mode as this fixes the issue but I rather have it on
Any tips?Comment

Re: Xbox One
They aren't re-selling your license though, so they would lose money if they took back the game for nearly full price. It's not like there's a finite amount of digital codes, and buying a "used" digital game isn't possible.
