Re: Xbox One
they closed it a while back due to the overwhelming amount of people wanting in. And it sucks because many joined just to get updates but never reported anything and just complained that there was an issue with a game or an app when they all knew what they were signing up for.

Yep. I hate that people that won't leave feedback. There is no reason for those people to be in.

Re: Xbox One
Do you guys think a slim is worth it for someone who is finally looking to update to current-gen? I'm feeling the football itch again this year, and I'm not sure how long NCAA 14 can continue to fulfill it with the institution of the playoff system and such (I know there's mods, but they aren't the same). Madden 17 is looking good, and there's some other titles I'd be interested in on the Xbox One, too.
I know the new console has a 2 TB hard drive, which is nice, but something I probably don't need given I don't tend to buy a lot of games (I'm mostly a sports-gamer).
I guess there's a PS4/Xbox One debate to be had, too, but I've owned an Xbox and a 360 over the last two generations, so I'm inclined to go towards Xbox One because of that (maybe that's misguided, though?).
From what I can tell, the slim is going to cost $100 more than the current Xbox One, but it's smaller, has a much bigger hard drive, and supports HDR lighting. Is the extra $100 worth it? I have the money, but I don't want to blow $100 for nothing, either.Comment

The 500gb will cost $50 more then current $250 price tag for 500gb. If you wait till Madden comes out the 1tb which is sweet spot is $350 so 100 more then vanilla xb1 for an extra 500gb and madden 17 game...Well worth it
The debate of ps4 and xb1 is that the ps4 has nicer resolution in most games which you can definately tell if you see both. I have both and can tell but besides that there is no difference. I prefer the controller on xb1 for sure and if you go with the slim you get 4K support for netflix and if you decide to buy 4K blu ray movies along with games in HDR if the devs support it like Gears of War 4 which will have it
HDR is High Dynamic Range which gives the blacks deeper ink to them and whites are brighter which to me if done right offsets the resolution advantage that ps4 has right nowComment

Yeah. It's an amazing indie game. Anyone who liked Limbo at all should absolutely check it out. For me it is Limbo x10. Amazing game"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Xbox One
So went ahead and picked up Forza Horizon 2 today and hooked already it's a pretty good game, I know I'm late to the party but just recently picked up a XB1 couple days ago. The game looks amazing too on the new 4K monitor I picked up to go along with my upgraded PC and now XB1 (already had/have a PS4), now the debate comes down to if I want to trade in some things I have laying around collecting dust (looking at you WiiU) and this XB1 to jump up to the slim for virtually no cost out of pocket after trades, to me the decision is almost a no brainier now that I pulled the trigger on the upgraded 4K monitor. Any opinions would be much appreciated, if I do take the jump most likely pick up the Madden bundle near end of August that looks like a pretty good deal all things considered.

What 4K monitor did you get? I am starting to look. When I pull the trigger on that I will grab the S.
