Bought a Forza Edition Car last night before logging off and tried it out for a few minutes, didn't really notice a difference yet in terms of the boost but we'll see.

Spent way more credits on it then I'd like to admit but it's beautiful. I wasn't lucky enough to land one via wheelspin yet

Never said Madden was an issue for me... It was NBA 2k16 vs 2k17.. Madden has always been smooth as butter on both Xbox and PS4.

Picked up the Ultimate Edition of Forza Horizon 3 after work yesterday and played last night for about three to four hours.

Thus far, no major complaints except one - I suck at this game. I can't drive for crap and on turns, I spin out or drift off the road. I did the second site for the Festival. I think that I have competed in 10 or so exhibition races. Won the first few that start the game and then won maybe one more after that but I have come in last place and 7th/8th as well.

With that all said, if I can somehow not suck at driving and actually enjoy it, I'll easily enjoy the game a lot more than I already am so for a Forza Horzion newbie, do any of you guys have any recommendations for the difficulty and settings?

This includes the advanced settings where when you increase or decrease one of the sliders, the joined one moves as well. It has to do with driving inside/outside.

Once I have a solid difficulty and able to drive better, I'll be a lot happier. Game itself though is amazing and looks absolutely gorgeous on my 43 inch Sony X800D 4K TV with HDR. And the depth and customization in this game is freaking insane!!!!!

Have you kept the driving lines on? Just follow them and you should get better at turns

I haven't played much forza except for the demo of this game but I found just braking when the red comes helped a lot turn wise.

This exactly

I had issues when I started in this great series with FH2 and really just following as close as you can along the driving lines and breaking into turns turning the red lines blue makes a world of difference

No. I usually turn off stuff like that to increase the immersion and difficulty but I didn't think for a second that actually affects me driving/braking.

In general, what difficulty level are you guys playing on? Do you have ABS and the other settings on or off?

I will post mine later. I have like 40% bonus for the settings. I would start with most of the stuff on and then slowly take off assists

I would keep the lines on in an open world game like that, just to know when to break with all the dirt you'll be driving on.

Also, keep traction control on.

I usually start off with manual w/clutch driving, no rewind, no damage at all, braking line only, and I usually play on highly skilled but this game the AI seems harder so I'm on above average I believe. I think I'm at 65% boost.

Trying so many different combinations and I can barely make any turns without spinning or slamming into barriers. Sorry guys but this isn't fun at all. Where the hell is the handling and steering? Used a car that has high 80's for the five attributes and same damn thing after upgrading the damn car. Enjoy the game guys. I'm done.
