I ended up picking it up at Best Buy today. Trading in my old, worn controller for $24, and price matched Amazon, it cost me $27 out of pocket.

As far as I can tell it's the same that comes with the S. Has the gripped back, Bluetooth. When she rung it up she mentioned it was the S controller (because she wouldn't price match at first).

Either way, it's definitely not the Lunar White from a while back. Haven't used it yet, but it looks and feels great.

I agreed with this until my wife surprised me with an Elite controller. It's the only one I pick up now. If they started selling Elite in other colors, I'd buy another one.

Even my wife will only use the elite to play games now, and she is super casual.

I wish Sony would make the equivalent of a Microsoft Elite Controller as I game a lot more on the PS4...its a huge difference for sure.

Best accidental purchase ever. Was trading in systems when i had disc errors on both my Xboxes. They were out of regular free controllers when I traded in and paid 5 bucks more for the Lunar White...That thing feels amazing.

I'm sure the Elite rocks, i just can't justify that on a controller I use somewhat rarely.

Yeah but wireless. I was all excited about these when I first saw them but they were not an option once I found out they were only wired. No need for wired, I'm not a competitive gamer, I just want a good, quality controller like the Elite.

Spent 10 bucks on Lego Jurassic World through Deals with Gold...My son's just turning 3 and not quite patient yet for games, but very smart. Hoping he can start focusing more so we can get him going....He loves dinosaurs and it was 10 bucks lol

Get him a Kindle Fire w/ Free Time (not the kids edition, just buy a kids case) and enjoy your console yourself for a couple more years

We have a Kindle Fire he uses more for videos now...we buy him kids games, but that's about it...he'll play them but loses focus. He's just got the energy of the sun, so one of those kids who runs around a lot.

He does love the Kindle though, and great for traveling or quiet time. Thankfully I do have 2 xboxes, so i'll survive.
