Re: Xbox One
Hey folks. I just bought a Xbox One S and I am having a hard time getting Forza to install it gets to about 44% and just stops. Nothing is wrong with the disc. I took it straight out of my old One and put it right into my new S. I have tried everything from deleting and re installing, hard resets, turning of online and trying to install without it updating. I am just about at my whits end.
Any help would be appreciated.Comment

Re: Xbox One
You ever able to figure this out? My Wife about lost her mind today when trying to download and play Dead Rising 4, the very first Xbox One game she has tried to play, and the install stops at 88% and never goes any further. It seems like a weird problem but leave it to be on the Xbox, never had this issue with my "other" system and I've been using that much longer obviously.
Have u tried disconnecting your xbox from the internet, then installing the game?Comment

Re: Xbox One
I believe it is an issue sometimes with the fact the game is installed from the disc while the same time it is downloading\installing an update. What is surprising though that they haven't fixed the problem. But once the game is installed, you can reconnect online and it will install the update and work without issue.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Unfortunately, this is a problem sometimes. I had this problem with MK and it would never install while online.

Re: Xbox One
I see that you have an XBox One already....so not sure if this is a worthwhile upgrade...unless:
1) You have a 4K tv that can do HDR
2) You want to enter the world of 4K Blurays
As for me....I decided to take the leap b/c of the two reasons....and I wanted to try out SimWorld along with DC/HyperBaller's roster sets for NBA 2K....For years, I have been wanting to check out these two group's work, but couldn't legitimize a purchase of the XBox for one game, since I'm more of a Sony guy since my issues I ran into with the red ring of death back in the day....But now...with the One S having the 4K Bluray and it being cheaper by $40 bucks or so than a 4K bluray player and getting it at Costco (which has an amazing return policy if any issues pop up)...is a no-brainer for me....
But really keeping any eye out for the Scorpio....Comment

Re: Xbox One
It was worth it for me because of the 4K BR player. 4K up-scaling is nice but the HDR for games that take advantage is really nice. Unfortunately there isn't many games that take advantage yet.
However, I am too on the look out for the Scorpio.Comment

@ALL -
Didn't know where to post this...but since the product I purchased was the XBox One S, I figure just put it in here...am sure the OS brethren have the answer...
So I got my 'S' at Costco 2 days ago...and of course...what happens today...it goes down in price to $239.99 (FELLAS - if you were on the fence before....and your a Costco member....definitely take the leap of faith at this price point!)....
Does Costco have a price difference matching policy? And will they issue a refund for the difference on the spot? in cash? or do I have to wait for a check in the mail?Comment
