I️ can literally see a the difference using game mode. It’s obvious. Picture gets brighter and more washed out looking. Not worth whatever input lag I’m getting because I️ don’t notice it while playing a game like AC:Origins. Stuff like the Show and 2k I️ always use it though.

It also says right on the tv it may impact image quality. .

I'm assuming even if it's not saying it's enhanced, it is in fact enhanced, just not showing under that menu in games and apps? I'd hate to re-download that huge game, especially as a customer who Comcast loves to screw over with a data cap.

Sent from TheDutchDads way cooler than an iPhone, Samsung S8+. Android FTW.

Any tv you buy the game mode will have bad settings...Lucky for you the samsung tvs allow the user to tweak a ton..

Do not buy into the graphics taking a hit in game mode...All game mode does is turn off the tv processor which is the tvs enhancement to their picture, like interpolation etc etc.

Samsung game mode and for that most game modes just give you the raw image that the console is feeding the tv...

I see zero difference in PQ when dealing with Game Mode or no game mode except the high input lag...Why you ask? because in non game mode I still turn off all the junk the tv has like auto motion and dynamic contrast which all cause lag....

But at the end of the day if that is what you like than that is really what matters

Injustice, Halo 5, Titanfall 2 and Killer Instinct all show the same thing

Hitman shows Xbox-Durango;Xbox-Durango-Only...no X after it, so does this mean that COD isn't enhanced or it is just a different name by it?
that is not what you need to read...is the above part where it says True or False after XB1X

True means enhanced and False means no enhancement

Game mode and not game mode. There is a difference there.

I know it says that on the tv menu, but that’s not usually for 4k content and most people on AVS have said the picture quality doesn’t change. I have noticed the brightness stuff you’re talking about but never seen the picture get any worse on Game mode. I’ll try it on the x tonight to see if there’s any noticeable difference.

only difference is that you did not set up the settings correct for game mode...but in terms of the picture...is 1.1

What are the settings you are using for game mode if you do not mind me asking

Any specific settings you are looking for? . I️ spent so much time tweaking my settings when I got the Pro. They are done.

Well, amazon lost my xbox, so I cancelled and found one at Target.

I have a 1080P plasma right now, I do plan to get an OLED HDR TV soon, so that is why I got this.

I have 3 enhanced games - Halo, Diablo 3 and Titanfall 2. So far playing the first two, I don't notice a difference to be honest. Maybe the load time is a little better, but that's it. If you told me this was my old Xbox elite, I would have believed it.

Maybe I am doing something wrong but I doubt it.

It’s hard for me to answer since I’m on a 4k/hdr set but I’d imagine I️ would feel the same way as you in your situation. I️ haven’t tried diablo 3 yet though so I️ can let you know if I don’t notice a difference when I️ do.

Please do. I think there will be a big difference there. One thing is I have not played these games in a while, so that doesn't help. I am going to fire up the Witcher since thats what I have bee playing, and while it is not enhanced yet, I want to see if it loads faster, moves smoother..etc.

Do you not see a difference in framerates when going from Game mode to normal? That's the big reason I always use Game Mode on my Samsung 4k TV.
