Valheim is good fun, but I also love exploring. I typically like more grounded games, but playing Valheim with my buddy cooperatively is honestly bringing back some good relaxed gaming feelings I haven't had in years. Reminds me of being a kid and just having fun gaming.

I don't know when I turned into some grump who needed more grounded games, but Valheim is not that and I'm loving it so far.

Anyone here play Outward? Buddy and I have kept our eye on it since it released, but never pulled the trigger partly because only the host ever got quest rewards. I see a mod is out that changes that, so we're interested in it once more.

A couple of friends and I have hit over 115 hours in Valheim, probably slow things down a bit with the 4th boss down.

Game is really great for this type of game, hopefully further updates only add to that.

Haven't tried it, but wanted to say it's in this month's humble monthly. I'm tempted to unpause and pick up the bundle for $8 for this game alone. Only thing stopping me is that I keep telling myself I already have a huge back log of games I have yet to install.

Looks like Sony is committing to bringing more of their exclusives to PC beginning with Days Gone this Spring. Good news overall, though, I would have preferred any other game of theirs.

Need the Show and EA CFB to be on PC and I'll not need a console until GTA VI inevitably comes out on consoles and doesn't release on PC for a year.

Yea, I've got it on the emulator. NCAA 14 shows its age too much for me at this point. Madden's gameplay has improved too many areas that I don't feel 14 competes with it very well anymore.

I doubt CFB releases on PC when it comes out next year or 2023, but we may get some sign one way or the other with Madden's PC release later this year. If Madden 22 on PC isn't the Next Gen version and EA states they don't plan to upgrade the PC version for awhile, then it's clear CFB won't release on PC. No way they release CFB with Next Gen gameplay on PC, but don't upgrade Madden.

However, if EA actually does upgrade Madden on PC to match the Next Gen version, then there will be a sliver of hope for CFB on PC, imo. Not much hope, but some.

PC Madden will get the next gen version, either this year or next, since they'll sunset the prior gen versions at some point. Unless they move away from PC entirely, and that's unlikely. It drives valuable EA Play subs.

The CFB title? Eh, we'll see. Waiting on UFC and NHL still. Nothin.

Hopefully it does, but their history with Fifa shows it is no guarantee. Of course Fifa has a more global market where powerful PCs are less common. I'd imagine in the states the Madden PC community has on average more powerful PCs that can keep up with an upgraded version.

What is the general thought on Valheim. We have group that is very much into ARK but we may be looking for a change. My only concern is that I heard the replay value may not be there and with only 5 bosses I am not sure how long our group of 8 would require to beat them all.

I'm enjoying it a lot. Only done the first boss with nephew.
For me is not about the bosses but the building and exploration so your mileage may vary.

I've spent entirely too much time playing this game. Lol
Still a blast and the exploration and mainly the base building has been very addicting.
Completed 2 bosses so far. Got butt handed to us on the 3rd boss so we're gearing up for that one to hopefully fair better next time.

We finished the 5th boss and are ready for a break, but have loved it.
