Don't think so (pretty sure anything using Bluetooth protocols has to be marked as such), if you pull the FCC ID off of one you could find out for sure.

I'm looking to buy a ps4 I'm willing to pay $400 for one but it must come with at least one game email me or text me if interested thank you

It's almost as bad as this lady on a "Yard Sale"-type group on Facebook saying she refused to pay $430 for a PS4 because "she ain't payin no taxes".

PlayStation 4 users can currently claim a free 14-day PS Plus trial subscription for free via the PSN store, and one gamer has found a loophole on the marketplace that allows repeat spamming of the offer. He’s now a free PS Plus member until the year 2035 without paying a penny.

The tipster – who we will not name here – contacted VG247 this morning to say that he stumbled upon the error, which saw him entering the PlayStation Plus tab of the PS Store, and then clicking on an Outlast-branded 14-day free trial banner. The offer is good to anyone who is signing up to PS Plus for the first time, and does not apply to existing subscribers.

He then added his credit card information for renewal purposes, at which point the interface asked if he wanted to extend his membership. The options allowed him to do so in 14-day intervals. He successfully extended his free membership to the year 2033.

It’s clear that this is an error. The tipster told us over email, “I never had PS+ so I decided to give it a try on my shiny new PS4. A new ad in the PS Store advertises 14 days free of PS+ if you have never had the service before.

A day later, our tipster returned to see if the glitch was still active. He added two more years to his subscription and is now a PS Plus member until 2035:

“Once you accept the deal, you are allowed to keep extending the 14 free days for free once prompted after confirmation of the free purchase. All you have to do is keep pressing X and you keep getting 14 free days added to your free subscription. The hundreds of email confirmations from Sony all say $0.00″

We’ve contacted Sony to shed official light on the matter, and so far we’ve been told there’s no comment. We’ll update you once we know more.

I'll see if Sony just let's it go or removes it and let's him go, or pulls a Microsoft and bans him. I doubt he gets banned.

I doubt Sony bans him, its Sony's fault for the loop hole/glitch. Can't fault someone for taking advantage of their error.

I've used a free 1 month Xbox Live subscription glitch for well over a year now. If he kept his mouth shut he would be fine.

Glad it came out. If anything deserves to be paid for it's the GREAT PS+ service.

I know times a re tough and glad some were able to get it free for a while though

I've been trying to watch streams on Twitch lately and I just get the loading screen 90% of the time. Even on my own broadcasts.

Are there settings I'm missing or something? Kinda sucks I can't even enjoy watching all you guys play.

Might be your ISP or router. I'm watching 6 different Twitch streams at the same time. Or are you trying to watch it via your PS4 ?

Need to hear more from you guys that got the Gold headphones! I am wanting to pick up a pair of headphones and am trying to decide which to get.

Me too. I have the first surround sound ps3 headphones. I need some reasons to pick up the gold.

If you guys are debating between the Gold headset and the Pulse Elite, go for the Pulse Elites. They have better drivers (this is what makes up the price difference between the two models), which results in better sound quality overall -- they have pretty good & clear mids and highs. There's also a thread on the audiophile forums, Head-Fi, where users generally liked them.

But what also sets them apart is that the Pulse Elites have a 3.5mm jack on the USB dongle (the Golds do not have this). This is, imo, such an amazing feature that they, unfortunately, removed from the Gold headset. This means that you can use the Pulse Elites wirelessly with just about any device, even your TV. Just plug your device into the 3.5mm jack on the USB dongle and then plug the dongle into something to power it and you're good to go with wireless sound. It already comes with a 3.5mm male-to-male connector, too.

But the biggest advantage of the 3.5mm jack on the USB dongle is that you can use it with a DAC/headphone amp for even better sound quality, or with something like the Turtle Beach EarForce DSS for better Virtual Surround (because the built in Sony VSS is not as good).

On my computer. I have Time Warner 30 down and 5 up.

Tried Ustream and it works perfectly. So I assume its on Twitch's end somehow. Sucks because so many more people are on twitch.

PlayStation 4 Discussion

I'm having some trouble here with my wifi connection. It is really strange:

I can connect and watch netflix.

PSN shows my friends list and what they are doing.

My "What's New" is completely up to date. I can watch videos, look at screenshots, etc.

But I can't connect to the Playstation Store. It says Network Error when trying to go into it.

Ideas?

I picked up the wireless Gold headset tonight. After I spend some time with them I will report back. This is my first ever gaming headset. Picked these over the elites because of price and the cracking issue on the elites.
