Yesterday was the first day I actually played my X360 since PS4 launch. I played Tomb Raider Anniversary and felt dirty. That old menu made me laugh.

Hope Sony starts cranking out some PS1/PS2 games soon along with their PS Now service. The only thing I'm holding my Xbox on for is to act as a legacy machine.

A bit surprised it wasn't more than 2-1, but it is what it is. Don't think anyone out there (that I personally follow/talk to/etc.) was surprised by the news.

Just wait until the PS4 drops in Japan and they really blow MS away in terms of next-gen market share.

I'm happy for Sony and happy myself as a gamer with the PS4. I don't have the time or $ to go with multiple consoles anymore. This time last year I was open to either, but MS alienated me with their attempts, so a part of me wants to see them struggle, but only to a point as competition is a must and hopefully they change their ways to give gamers a better experience rather than nickel and dim ing us. Sony is not perfect and we should hold their feet to the fire if they slip up as well, but I see more effort in their part over the last year and with the PS4. Keep it up Sony.

Reporting back on the Gold Headset.

I love it. The sound is very crisp. The bass is excellent, may be the best headset I have ever had. The battery life is really good. Only running on the initial charge, I have been able to play for an hour or two a night and the battery life is still at 2 of 3 bars.

The only real downside, and its not much of a downside, is that its kind of heavy. And I originally had some issues with the volume for sound and chat volume. But I think I just had it backwards.

I played with mine for about 5 hours last night. When I was done, I still had 2/3's of my charge left.

It's my first gaming headset ever. The sound is very nice, but didn't blow me away like I had expected. The headset is very comfortable to me. Not once did I have to remove it because it was bothering me, was it too heavy, etc.

I played War Thunder for about 3.5 hours and had no problems whatsoever. Not one. But when I played Tomb Raider, I had constant audio dropouts at certain points in the game. It was very strange - I could turn back to a spot where I had just been and audio would return. This was constant throughout the game. What I did NOT do was try the game without the headset, so this could be a problem with the game since the new update. I am not sure.

Question: If I want to watch a movie in surround sound with the headset, do I have to choose that audio option (7.1 or 5.1) from the DVD/Blu Ray audio menu, or does it do it automatically since it is really simulated surround sound?

I'm not a huge fan of any one particular console, I own all of them...and buy games on them all....but what worries me a little is if Sony destroys Microsoft then effectively we as gamers, even PS4 gamers, are going to lose...

I mean Nintendo isn't going to be able to compete, it's apples and oranges really...

MS needs to step up their game and quit banking on one game, Titanfall, to turn the tables IMO

I am not surprised one bit. Every time I go to Best Buy or Target, there are Ones to be had and no PS4's. It's mid-February and a whoop still sounds at OS when Amazon has them, that is quite an indicator.

MS had a head start on Sony and it helped at first but they didn't seem to capitalize. In a way, I gotta hand it to them for really trying something different with insisting on Kinect integration, but they may very well find themselves in trouble this year or next if they don't 1) back the price down 100.00, somehow w/Kinect included or 2) start offering the console without Kinect as an option at the PS4 pricepoint.

I love my PS4, but my only motivation to get a One right now is Forza, and that is it. I have no interest in Titanfall, and never was one for Halo so MS has not given me a reason to get a One.

I feel this is a safe place to say Titanfall does nothing for me. Looks like COD with mechs. And mechs are stupid.

I want to get an XB1 but more along the lines of that being the "family room" system. It doesn't come across as a pure gaming system to me. Maybe I'm old school in that regard but that is what I look at the PS4 as and where I spend most of my free gaming time.

I have an xbox one now too. I've been pretty underwhelmed so far. The PS4 interface is so much better to me.

I wish the rubber on the sticks of the DS4 were more durable as they wear down pretty quick. My left stick is beat up the most.

I'm not having any issues with my controller,but to avoid any issues down the road,I picked these up the other day....

Once Titanfall drops I expect things to change. That game has generated amazing interest. People paying 90 dollars for betas. lol

Not surprised. It seems more than ever that Microsoft will drop their price this year, whether it's a disc-less or Kinect-less console. As for the immediate future, the PS4 will be releasing to the Japanese market next Friday, Feb.21st. The numbers will be even widen more. Wonder how EA execs feels about releasing Titanfall for the Xbox only now? Hope they got some serious $$$$ for it.
