    Never got into LBP.

I downloaded it for free from PS+ on my PS3, but barely played it.

Seems like a party game to me.

The Vita game is fantastic. Can't play it with anybody else (I guess you could online), but I would play through it again now. The only problem is I had the physical copy, and I kept these games in my wallet, and they don't work anymore. No damage that I can see, though.

Do you think Gamestop would check them to see if they work if I returned them? I know, that sounds bad...

Anyway, my point is you said it seems like a party game, but they literally had to develop the Vita version with the mindset that you can't play the levels with anybody else. It's extremely well done, better than LBP 1 and 2 with regard to level design. Have yet to play LBP 3. It was a different developer from the first two, though (don't know who developed the third one).

LBP Vita was the best version, IMO too.

As a uber-creative and my general "maker" ways, I absolutely love the series. It is unique for sure, but I think the majority of people will not be into creating levels, and may even be slightly intimidated by it. LBP opened up many possibilities, from remote play/control, to move implementation. All the while letting the user play with these tools. I actually appreciate the backwards compatibility of the series. That's a pretty big feat in gaming, IMO.

          Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion

          I LOVE the LittleBigPlanet series.

What draws me in is the creativity and style. I think Sackboy is one of the great characters in gaming (to the point that I have a couple of plush Sackboys here in my room), and the overall aesthetics of the universe are interesting to me on an artistic level. The level designs can be pretty inventive, especially in the Vita installment, which is why I agree with Blzer and theSLAB that the Vita game is the best. The fact that the series has such a dedicated community is a bonus, providing thousands upon thousands of extra levels to play.

The physics are what they are, and I'm more than used to them by now. It bothers me that people dismiss the games so casually just because of those physics. Every game has its quirks, but people seem perfectly okay with leaning them ... except in this case. I suspect that there's more to it (like all those hardened gaming tough guys not wanting to play a game that looks like this, for one), but the physics excuse makes an easy out.

They're also great to play with somebody on the couch next to you, and that's always a plus for me in an era when fewer such games are being made.

I suppose a lot of the other games have "speed run" fanfare associated with it. The speed of the game is a part of the integrity that it owns. LBP doesn't have this. It doesn't even have turbo control. It's about collecting bubbles and stickers.

I still think the framerate needs to change though, and they can obviously make it happen.

Anyone else having issues with trying to upload screenshots? I used to be able to do this with no issue. I created a separate facebook account just to upload photos. Now, when I go to share (in-game) and try to upload a screen to facebook (like I've done 10,000 times) all the options are not available (kind of transparent looking and won't let me select them).

Clear your upload messages/log or something like that? Others have had similar problems until doing that.

I went to Best Buy and tried to buy three DS4 controllers from them. They said the Sears stores nearby were all out, so they could not price match. Damn it.

Has anyone added funds on Psn via PayPal to take advantage of the extra $10 they're spotting you? I'm about to but kinda confused. You can only add 5,10,25,50 or $150.... so just wanted to be sure if I add $50 then $10 Sony is honoring that. Seems kinda weird they ask for $60 without giving the option to add $60.

This is a very good deal, but I'm not doing it only because I am spending as much as I can at BB as possible so I can get to $3500 by the end of the year. I won't force it, but the idea there is if I get anything it will be from there.

To answer your question, you can add $50 then $10 if you'd like. It just needs to be done by December 16th, and you'll receive an e-mail or PSN message by December 23rd regarding it. The code will have to be redeemed by January 22nd, so make sure that you don't have more than $90 in your account right now, because then you can't add it (because you can only have a max of $150, and you'll have put in $60 through PayPal).

Well I just added $82.24 via PayPal, which was the max it would allow me, and I don't see the $10 credit. At least not yet anyways.

How can you add funds for anything other than the preset denominations? I couldn't see where to do it.

Interesting Blzer, I didn't realize it had to be spent by Jan 22nd. My Ps+ expires tomorrow ! Lol i figured now was a good time to get some free money. However i have no idea if there'll be anything I want to buy on Psn in the next month.
