    SharePlay? Yes. Remote Play? No.

When I brought up SharePlay, I was referring to The Show. I tried it with somebody on here and we both had a great hardwired connection, and it was literally impossible to play.

Doing Remote Play with COD and putting it up right beside my screen, I noticed input lag, but I wonder if it is at all equivalent to what I experience with SharePlay, because I seem to remember that being a lot laggier.

Maybe I'll make a video on how good Remote Play works for this stuff haha.

As far as I'm aware, every single PS4 game supports Remote Play. They don't all do it well, but they all support it.

Correct. The games I have that I deem playable are:

        Killzone: Shadow Fall
        Pure Pool
        LEGO Marvel
        GTA V
        COD:AW

Zen Pinball 2 did not function well at all. I had trouble with the FIFA demo, the NHL 15 demo, and I'm suspect about things like NBA 2K and MLB The Show... basically all sports. I haven't yet tried LBP 3.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention that game.

I tried that one as well, and had issues. Let me clearly explain what the biggest issues are though for all games I have mentioned so far (except for Zen Pinball with lag and framerate being the biggest problems):

Unless there are updates I haven't checked on since, TLOU, NHL, and FIFA use R2/L2/R3/L3 as the back corners of the rear touchpad. Meanwhile, other games like Killzone, etc. have R3/L3 mapped to the full back halves of the touchpad, and R2/L2 is mapped to the top, and R1/L1 is mapped to the front bottom corner of the touchscreen.

This means if it's a game where you need to drive, shoot, or sprint, you don't have to make an unfortunate choice of either changing your controls every single time to trigger options (if they allow you) where you might be making unfortunate sacrifices. When you can't change the controls with ease, this makes driving, shooting, and sprinting the biggest hassle trying to find R2 on the top right corner of the rear touchpad, and feels very weird to squeeze a touch-related item for something that feels like something needs to be pressed on (hence my hatred for touch stuff in general).

I think I want to make a review for Remote Play someday and call out all of these features, because when developers pay attention to the fact, it works quite well. I also feel lag doesn't end up being an issue for some of the games, neither does framerate. I will try and create an order of which ones feel least impacted by framerate/lag from best to worst based on my experience, though:

            1) Pure Pool
            2) Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
            3) Grand Theft Auto V
            4) Killzone: Shadow Fall
            5) LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (haven't played much of this yet in general)
            6) The Last of Us: Remastered
            7) FIFA 15 demo
            8) NHL 15 demo
            9) Zen Pinball 2

A fun experience that I have sometimes is just to practice the controls on the Vita first watching on the big screen, like playing Remote Play but watching my TV to do it. That way there aren't any lag issues, and for some reason I'm more comfortable with controls when I'm not looking at the screen I'm using to do it. Once you get the hang of it, then you can try it with RP.

I think RP is one of those features, like I mentioned before, that because you can, you should. I feel excited when I'm able to take advantage of a feature that I normally couldn't bringing the item downstairs when watching TV or being surrounded by others, or using it to take advantage of other things around my own room or lying in bed, etc. It's a nifty tactic that honestly sold me on the PS4, and as long as games are playable on it, I'm going to forever be using it.

For me it will die if I can't progress without spending money. IF I can slowly get decent weapons/loadouts it will be like team fortress 2 without the unplayability due to lag (I hope that game gets re-released though)
As far as I can tell the only things that require "Spacebux" are clothing options and bombs to unlock loot safes. You can get clothing from loot crates, though, as that's how I got my Grenadier Sombrero.

I'm in the process of saving up to unlock some more loadout slots and just relying on loot drops for weapon upgrades. I spent 2.5 hours trying to beat the Mission Level 9 (IIRC - it was the "don't die 6 or more times" objective) last night. The game is a lot of fun so far.

I agree with Blzer on the games from his list that I've played (Lego Marvel, Pure Pool, Zen Pinball 2), and I can add some additional game observations to the list as well ...

Need for Speed: Rivals works VERY well on Remote Play. The game even remaps the controls by default so that you brake and accelerate with the Vita's shoulder buttons (instead of having to use the back touch pad, since brake/accelerate are L2/R2 on the PS4).

inFamous: Second Son runs pretty well. It seems like the game is darker on Vita, but that can be adjusted easily by in-game options. Combat is a little tougher because of the floaty analog sticks on the Vita.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a mixed bag. It runs fine, but I find the graphics to be somewhat milkier on Vita. More importantly, the game's already-convoluted controls are disastrous on Vita, making the game almost unplayable.

Watch_Dogs runs well on Vita, but the controls don't translate effectively, making it a bit of a hassle to play.

I don't have Knack anymore (since I borrowed it from my sister), but in limited Remote Play usage, it ran well. Much like Lego Marvel, the game's simple controls translate great to the Vita.

The Pinball Arcade runs like trash. The framerate is bad, and the game stutters frequently. Needless to say, that's a game-breaker for a pinball sim.

I own Madden 15 and NHL 15, but I've never tried to play them via Remote Play aside from some franchise management stuff. I may give it a shot soon just to see how they run.

I guess the ability to play powerful games on such a small device is enticing. Plus, I can play it anywhere in the house at any time. Don't have to use up an extra television or what have you.

Also something that PS4 can't even do, I can play my music while using it.

EDIT: I take back the music thing. Well, I didn't mean for RP but for the Vita itself.

Someone mind helping out in the Share Play. Me and a friend are trying it out. And it said content not available for me and it leads me to PStore to get the game (CODAW). Not sure if this game even would work for Share Play. Also the friend hasn't fully downloaded the game yet.

I like being able to kick back in bed or on the couch in the living room and play PS4 games. I've also spent more time than I would like to admit using Remote Play so I can keep a game going through a trip to the can.

Plus, as a side benefit, Remote Play makes a decent workaround if I only have one controller handy and my sister comes over and wants to play a co-op game. Connect to Remote Play, and bam, my Vita is now a controller. Ditto for 3 players with 2 controllers. (My sister, her fiancee, and I have had some rollicking games of Towerfall: Ascension this way.)

I agree with all the remote play stuff. The problem for me is that I really like to play almost exclusively sports games and they are pretty miserable to play via remote play.

I've never had any intentions of grabbing a Vita. Not for any specific reason, just didn't think I'd get enough use out of one, despite Remote Play etc.

Anyway I'm about to get the Sony Xperia Z3 through work. Which happens to support Remote play. Even though it's a small ( 5.2" screen? ) I'm pretty damn excited to give it a try, but I'm definitely keeping my expectations in check.
